I have a small sebaceous cyst on the back of my neck below my hairline that my wife absolutely loves to express (palpate until it releases sebum, or whatever that stuff is). What is with her strange infatuation? She refuses to allow me to have it removed because she likes fidgeting with it so much. Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this is weird.

uuuuuuuuh no your wife isnt wierd. my husband has one on his back and he gets some sometimes on his other bodly exstremadies, its a girl thing, if it looks like a zit and it makes the man squirm when we "pop" the "beast" then we love it. one of my friends would do her redneck husband till he was sore! so no its not wierd its like a said a girl thing!

Remove it and fast! You are lucky it's on the back of your neck, I had one in my cheek.
I got it in 4th grade...and just didn't do anything about it....when I had it removed in December it was the size of a walnut.
Like I said... even if your wife likes it (which is weird, though I did like to chew on mine because i could feel it on the other side of my cheek) it's not worth the wait. Get a little scar... I have an inch and a half scar... it's not worth it.
p.s. don't let her pop it anymore. It's REALLY bad... talk about a fast way to irritate it, and make it grow.

Strange, have it checked and removed by a Doctor brfore it turns into something worse

Wow I wish my boyfriend had one. Does she ever do it in a room with a black light? I used to like to pop pimples in the black light cuz they glow. Something to try...
