My mind is made up on my basic beliefs but on other subjects that are not a point of salvation I have an open mind. I don't think that I know it all....and I am very willing and in fact searching to know more about my God.

Glory to God my mind is made up. As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.
Now as to various Christian principles I try to maintain an open mind, but I confess that I pretty much know what I think and have little cause to change it But the road to Ema us could just be around the corner too.

Good one.
It has been my experience, that when a person accuses another person, of having a "closed mind" the person doing the accusing, has a mind closed to the right of the other person to have his mind made up.
It is a tactic used by the crafty to break the other person's resolve about what their beliefs are. And to insidiously insert and plant seeds of the accusers propaganda into the gullible.
No offense to anyone, it is just an observation.
a perfect example of the closed mind, is the use of the thumbs down feature. I respect everyones' opinions, but refuse to subjugate my beliefs to anyone else.
Anyone ever read Ayn Rand?
Much of Atlas Shrugged, and the Fountainhead are applicable, when considering this topic.

I have an open mind. I was raised Christian, and tend to relate to spirituality in those western terms, however I feel, based on experience, most churches as institutions are corrupt and on power trips. This led me to much prayer and meditation in serch of spiritual truths. I have learned that Christ spoke in very metaphysical terms, reincarnation was accepted doctrine until Constantine declared it an anathema and heretical during the 2nd Council of Nicea 542AD, most faiths have love, compassion, and holiness or enlightenment at the core of their belief system, and each person must follow their own path. I think God choose to make Himself known to different cultures in terms they would understand, hence different religions. Lastly, I believe that every person is my brother and sister no matter what they believe.

I have made up my mind that i have an open mind. ;] sorry i just felt like saying that. In saying that you have an open mind means that you have thought and made your mind up and think u have an open mind.

Made up about things it needs to be made up about, and open about things it needs to be open about.

Old enough to have cemented many of my opinions, but wise enough to know everything is always subject to change.
