My dad put a cheak on the talb a few days ago and he wanted to take it to the bank but it is gone and we are panicing it was over $300 or $400 dollors and can we get the money back some how Beacause my dad is crying and scraming Where is the cheak

contact the bank tomorrow if you dont find it in the meantime and stop the check (if its one that he wrote)
if its a check from someone else?- contact the person/business who issued it

I hope, by "cheak," you mean check. Anyway, if this check was from him, he can stop payment on it. There will be a fee, probably about $30. He can just call the bank tomorrow.

If it was from someone else, he can call them tomorrow and have them stop payment. They can just deduct the stop-payment fee from the replacement check they should issue.

Why does he leave his checks on the table? Tell him, in the future, to keep his checks on him, and deposit them immediately into a relevant ATM. Sales people say you should never leave money on the table... and your situation is the reason for that cliche.

Look for it but don't panic whoever wrote it can put a stop payment on it and reissue. Have him check his pockets and wallet he could have picked it up and forgotten. Also have him check his bank account in case he deposited it and forgot.
