Can I still get a barium enema xray done while having my period? (serious, please.)?

I have a Barium enema scheduled for Wednesday, and I just started my period. It will be somewhat heavy that day. Will that affect me being able to still have the enema xray done? Obviously I will be wearing a tampon. Any answers would be helpful, thanks!

I've had a barium enema and I can't see why your period would be a problem at all. Besides they are professionals at dealing with such things. I wouldn't worry.
