Sure it is possible. There are brain studies being done (the Olaf Blanke studies in Switzerland for one) which show that out of body experiences can be created by triggering or shutting down parts of the brain.
Some indications are that there is a part of the brain that locates us inside our own bodies...if this part is shut down (which can apparently be done through meditation and other altered states of consciousness) an out of body experience which pretty much coincides with all the others described occurs.
So sure, there is a rational explanation and atheists can experience this just like any other human - most of us really are human.

Of course they can! This has nothing to do with religion(s) or the lack of same. This is a universal feature of Man and animals.
Get used to it! How can you say :But this is IMPOSSIBLE" when it just happened!?! Change your atheist belief system and allow for extra happenings. The mind is a very powerful instrument. The more you open up your mind - the more you will experience.

we were never monkeys because why wouldn't monkeys still be turning into humans and why would it stop all of a sudden? Why don't fish get up and turn into humans to if monkeys can do it? Why is it so hard to believe that someone as mighty as god made Adam and Eve after his own image? what will you atheists do when god all mighty come with the rapture and makes you all answer for all your sins and you are speechless. Will you take the devils number or accept god and realize the truth instead of the lies that you some how forced to believe?

Technically, no. Their is no separation of mind and body.
However, everyone is delusional to a certain point. Even those that know God is fake might believe in UFO's or magic or ESP or out of body experiences... Course, that doesn't make any of it real...
PS. If you have proof of an out of body experience, James Randi is prepared to give you 1 million dollars.... LOL.

Atheism and the spiritual explanation for OBE's aren't necessarily incompatible; you can reject the idea of a deity and still believe in the spirit. Granted, I'd assume that the vast majority of atheists who have had OBE's would hold the opinion that they're all in your head, but you don't HAVE to feel that way to still be an atheist.

I don't believe anyone can, but if it were possible then I imagine it would probably not depend on whether one believes in gods.

Read the X-Men and watch Dr. X do it all the time. It requires psi-mental skills, not phony superstitions.
