Is it because you are afraid of being reborn and having to die again?

it's not death we are afraid of, first of all. it's the pain of it in a human body.
i want more than i life...because i'm here now, and the only thing i can feel is life. i can't imagine being nothing physically and mentally.
so no, i'm not content. i think we are going somewhere when we die...i just don't know where

Actually, I'd love to be reborn after I die.

Do you think I really want death to be the end?

Wanting something to be the case dosn't make it reality.

Realising this is part of being a "grown up" as far as I can tell.

Theists seem to apply this commonsense to most aspects of life, until it gets to religion and faith. Then they revert to to holding onto something because they want it to be true rather than because it is true.

Well it doesn't matter if I am content or not because either way I only have 1 life whether I like it or not. And besides, why would I want to spend more than one life on Earth when I can spend eternal life with my heavenly father?

I'm content, I never understood people who want to live forever...maybe because life has been hard for me, I have to deal with a lot of discrimination, but one life sounds good to me, when I die I just wanna be dead, no afterlife.

It's not a matter of fear. I believe on 'one life' simply because it's told by my religion, Islam. When you die, you're soul will have to stay in your grave until the judgment day. Then you go either to heaven or hell. If, by any chance, my religion says that there is a reincarnation, then i will also believe it.

Yes, I am content with this one life, because I know that it is just a small moment in the eternities I have lived and will live. this is just a proving ground for each of us. Like in the pre-existence, our choices brought us here, the choices we make here will tell us where we progress to next.

Yes I'm very content and it isn't because of fear. I just never could believe in anything else beyond this. Living your life with major fears isn't living.

Well, I am resigned to having one life. I think there are painless ways of dying so more than one life would be a good thing.... alas I do not believe this is the case.
