I've started singing karaoke when I've heard a beautiful song and wanted to know how does my voice sound on that song.

have a party of at least 6 ppl. u get 2 or 3 ppl to go into the room where the karaoke is and start singin
pretty soon every1 will be there too
just put the music loud enough!

Well, when I first got started in karaoke, vodka, tequila, and Budweiser had a great deal with me starting to sing. But really it was a friend of mine who helped me get the courage up to do it by putting my name in to sing a song she knew I knew and also schmoozing the DJ on my behalf to get more songs than everyone else. After that first night I was HOOKED.

go to a place (like a resturaunt or bar) where the do Karaoke and sing your heart out!

By a karaoke maching and some cds and do it at home!
