All I know is Art Garfunkel is the name of a singer and song writer. I don't know if a verb was made of it.

Looks like it's spelled right. It's possible to use "garfunkling" as a verb in English due to its rules of syntax. I recall a similar example where some years ago, I told a co-worker of mine how I thought rock singer Tom Petty sounded a lot like Roger McGuinn. He replied: "Yeah, lately, Tom Petty has been out-McGuinning McGuinn."
