I am a teen, and have tried contacts once. Didn't like them so went back to glasses. I found colored contacts. I want purple ones. I want to try contacts one more time. But, this time I am sure that I will keep them. My parents, won't let me try them again. But, I REALLY want to. Any ideas.

I'll be aloud to get purple. Or maybe I should go with blue. I'll try both on to see which looks better. If, I can get them.

Well, explain to them why the reason you didn't want to keep them isn't going to happen. Be mature and ask politely. You could do some research, so they can tell you really want them. Maybe, if they don't let you get purple contacts, then you should just get clear ones.

Why didn't you like them? Were they uncomfortable? You need to be fitted for contacts and if they don't feel quite right then you need to try a different lens. Your doctor will probably charge you a flat fee for the fitting, you can ask her what it will be.
That said, not everyone can wear colored contacts, because they don't fit everyone. If you try colored ones and find that they fit you then you're still not likely to get the dramatic change you're looking for with purple ones, most purple contacts look more brown then purple unless you really look.

Get a part time job and pay for them yourself. Then your parents can't object.
