Lets see if all you liberals remember Bill Clinton's stance on Iraq? Or perhaps Al Gores? Both of them were emphatic that Saddam Hussein HAD WMD's while they were in office. Of course they did nothing about it. Also let us not forget that Sadam was frantically trying to destroy his long range missles the week before we attacked. These were weapons that should have been destroyed over a decade ago. Slick Willy and George the First BOTH dropped the ball on that one.
Yet another thing to NOT forget..... the attack was made with UN approval.
But hey, if the United States didn't do the right thing ( along with Great Britain ) then the right thing would NEVER get done because the other countries of the world ( France, Germany, and Russia ) are just as gutless today has they have been throughout history. If there is a buck to be made they'll be there, but if it involves any kind of sacrifice count them out.

Now it is a war between people of Iraq and invaders. It is a never ending war. A war between poor and rich, have and have not. I think this will end up very soon, provided invaders country will gent bankrupt.

nobody knows for sure.

what we do know is that ever reason that bush has given for going to this war has turned out to be either an outright lie or a deception.

from where i stand, a guy who avoided going to vietnam has sent hundreds of thousands into battle for no good reason.

because iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, has nothing to do with american security or the broader war on terror.

here's another thing - we're not going to get any payback for 9/11 in iraq.

Do you really want to know or are you asking merely to make a political statement against one or the other parties?

Saddam tried to assassinate one of our presidents. Saddam shot at our airplanes for over a decade. Saddam reportedly had WMD and did every thing he could to perpertuate the idea that he did. Saddam killed tens of thousands of his citizens. Saddams son's raped women and then fed them to the lions, literally. Saddam refused to allow the UN weapons inspectors access to ascertain that he did not have WMD. Saddam supported terrorism in Israel by paying 25k per suicide bomber.

That's how we got there. Now, we're fighting Al-Qaeda there. It's a totally different reason for staying.

The reason is the desperation of the declining USA, it was thougth that this invasion, designed to draw a new map in Middle East, only lead to a gargantuan crisis in USA itself.

But let me tell you that at last but not least,I love all this crisis as crisis leads to Revolutions, that´s how we breed...
