Are muslims really hated as much as I sense they are? I feel that no one can stand muslims these days. And have trouble greeting a musy without someone giving me the eyeball.

I don't hate Muslims. I don't hate anyone. I'm just angry at those who cause suffering, fear and death for the innocent in the name of Faith. And very disappointed with those who secretly support them even if only by emotions. Every Muslim out there should make his/her opinion known in favour or against. What is happening is very painful even to Muslims for they live in large numbers all through out the west, and will have to deal with people of different faiths on daily basis. People who are usually targeted by extremists of the Muslim faith. The media isn't being good that's true but not enough is being said from the Muslim communities. I would personally like to know that.

I hate neither Islam nor muslims - what would be the point. All people are pretty much the same - we want to be free to love and be loved, to be safe, have enough food and shelter, worship whoever we choose and watch football on Saturday afternoons (or wahtever activity you wish to sbustitute). If you are sensing hatred it is most likely a projection of your own feelings.

I don't hate Islam or Muslims. In fact, I bought a Koran (Quoran) just the other day so I can understand their faith more.

In our school we learnt a little bit about Hinduism, Islam and Buddhism but mainly Christianity and Judaism in our first two years of secondary school and then for 3rd to 6th year you only learn about Christianity and Judaism, which is a shame, as most people know about Christianity anyway, and I find it most interesting to learn about the more diverse religions which follow much different beliefs.

Islam is hated and feared after the 9/11..
But suprisingly, it continues to grow and in fact, twice the times previously..
Because of some radicals and extremists, the whole community is to be blamed..

And why do you call Muslims "musy"?
And to faith, if you don't hate Islam or Muslims, why do you call the Quran "doctrine of lies"?

I'm an atheist and so I think all religions are equally silly, though not hated.

However, yes, Islam and Muslims both are utterly hated. All anyone ever hears about is the bad, but at the same time, Muslims even hate each other...which is the root of all their problems.

I think you will find Christians who hate Muslims just like you can find Christians who hate Blacks or Mexicans or something like that. I know of a Christian who believes that the Holocaust never took place and it was all Jewish propaganda. Christians are not perfect. People are still sinful and unclean and have to be washed in the blood of Christ daily.

However, in general, I think Christians love people and it doesn't matter to them whether the people are Muslim, Jew, Hindu, or whatever.

I personally know many Muslims. I like them, respect them and see them as on different that others. They love their god, their families and their countries just like other people. The problem is that since 9-11, to keep the war going, our media has taken on a real hate Islam campaign so that the American people remain afraid and ready to support any war Bush (or the government) wants to fight.

I am a Christian and hate it when people are racist its really sad what has become of people these days
Just cause a few people are extremists doesnt mean the rest of them are, most are just really nice ordinary people who are good citizens. Most racists doent even know what they believe in and assume what they believe in is wrong.

Luckily i live in a very mulit cultral accepting part of australia but not even down under are we sheilded from igronant racists
