Why do you want to see combat??? take this from me... "it aint like in the movies" theres nothing funny or cool about wondering which peice of what is who or why you have your friends brains on your sleeve, Theres no glory in killing anyone nomatter who they are even if they deserve it... its just a job and thats part of it... What is it about combat you want so bad is it pulling the trigger, the rush of wondering if your gonna be breathing in the next few seconds.... your only wanting to see what you think you know. In real life theres more to combat than 99 percent of anyone out there knows... theres the tiredness, the smells you never forget, the feeling your always being watched, the idea that anyone could be the one or anyplace could be it... the dread of the next patrol, or the feeling you get after a firefight when everything settles down and you actually have time to get nervous so you light up a smoke and just sit there thinkin with sweat drippin of you and CLP and cordite stuck to your face....how the Fu@K did we just make it through that..... I know what im talking about man Im in the Marine Corps... Ive done 4 tours to Iraq (Push on Baghdad, Push on Fallujah, Ramadi, and the Syrian border) not to mention Afghanistan and Haitai(fighting the Rebels)..... Ive got 2 purple hearts.... and alot of other **** that comes along with those deployments... Im not bitchin heck im proud to have served my country and i wouldnt change it for the world I thank god for the oppurtunity to have helped out the best dang country in the world

My friend went through a bad time and did something stupid which he got the book for and is therefore a felon but he is still in the NG and served in Iraq. He was also in Somalia when we were in the army together but that was pre felony

Convicted felons need a waiver in order to join the military. However, since our going into Iraq getting such a waiver has become increasingly easy. I think something like 8,000 were issued last year alone. I'm sure your recruiter will be more than happy to handle this for you.

yes coz they could waiver it like they do with smoking weed. It does not matter which branch you go to they will all waiver it. The recruiters see you as points for there next rank and they would do anything to get you in. Also there are so many people in the miltary who have a Felon. People in the miltary are not perfect people.
