Not me. Mormon "baptism" is about the only kind that we will not accept, under any circumstances. Different "Gospel", another "Jesus".
Just like we were warned about:

A false cult is a false cult no matter if its a new religious movement or an old one.
Islam could still be called a false cult when compared to Biblical Christianity.
In fact there are many similarities between Islam and the LDS.
They both have a false prophet who was a pedophile, practiced and taught mulitple wives, they both created a new "bible" which they taught is superior and more reliable to God's original.
I was raised in a Lutheran Church and we received zero training in comparative religions.
Which is I believe one reason why false cults are able to proselytize so effectively.
Teens in particular, need to be trained in what a false cult is before they go off to college.
One of my cousins, who again was raised Lutheran, married a Christian Scientist, another false cult without knowing it.
I don't even think her Pastor warned her about it. I'm not even sure if he knows to this day what a false cult it.
She is fortunate they have a good marriage.
But she had mis-carriage after mis-carriage and Christian Science was unable to help.
Then I was made aware of the problem, prayed for her and 8 months later she had twins.
Jesus healed her instantly.
Obviously it took 8 months for the twins to arrive.
Anyway I'm glad you won't be sucked into that womanizeing false cult I call the Latter Day Sinners.

I'm Catholic, and I don't like belittling other people's religions, and that's what you're doing when you classify someone else's belief system as a "cult". By using that terminology, it's clear that you don't know that the term "cult" was thrown out ages ago in serious theological circles in favor of the term NRM (New Religious Movement). Ignorant of other religions? I've spent many years studying other religions, both Christian and non-Christian. It had the result of increasing my tolerance for beliefs other than my own. And by the way, polygamy hasn't been practiced by the LDS in a very long time, with the exception of a few small so-called "fundamentalist Mormon" groups that have nothing whatsoever to do with the majority of mainstream Mormons.

I don't use the term'"cult" about other groups.
Mormonism(LDS-'Brighamite" rather than RCJCLDS/Community of Christ) is not Christian theologically with its polytheism, eternal progression and prexistence, human working up to godhood and other things incompatible. Judaism and Islam and even Zoroastrianism are much closer theologically to Historic Christianity than Mormonism is.Even some forms of Hinduism may be closer to Christianity.
Sociologically, the Mormonisms(as well as Jw,Xn Science,Unitarianism, etc) are to be filed under the category of "Christian"(maybe in its own subcategory as a religio-ethnicity) since its cultural identity is basically American Protestant ,even New England Protestant, and cultural language is Restorationist American Protestant( although the biblical and Protestant terms have been very much changed in meaning and purpose).
Catholics until fairly recently had few dealings with Mormons and just lumped them into the same dough as Fundamentalist Protestants. Today there are many more sources to learn about other religions,in this case of "Christo-Gnosticism". Catholics also tend to be rather ignorant of the theologies of the many and almost countless groups of American Protestantism, anyway,Anytime spent hereon Answers will also show that many ,many Protestants are very misinformed about Catholicism

Because they aren't. Most Mormons do not defend polygamy. Some of my best friends are Mormons and they are some of the best Christains I know. I am a Mass going Catholic and Mormons are not a cult.

Hello Little Miss Princess. I would suggest that you do more studying of not only the Bible, but on the history of Christianity. Many would argue that Catholicism is not Christianity any more than Mormonism. Also, the Mormon church is split on the issue of polygamy. They have broken into the Mormon Church and the Church of The Latter Day Saints. Do some research on early Christian fathers such as St. Clement of Alexandria and Origen. Also pay attention to the Councils of Nicea and the changes made to Christianity during the reign of Constantine.

*Is Catholic*
It is because many parents, many priest, and many bishops have failed to teach Catholicism in its fullness.
Anybody who knows a little about Mormonism knows that it is not Christianity. The Catholic Church has also made it clear that they are not Christians.
The point that I would like you to follow is for you to be aware of what other religions are so that you will be able to teach other. The Church needs people who are informed to remind the rest of us.

actual this is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints". The e book of Mormon is what they use as their teachings. And cults can use Jesus's call of their identify in the event that they choose for to. this is stupid to think of that all and sundry a cult has to do to make human beings believe they seem to be a valid faith is to place the words "Jesus" or "God" of their call.

To call/label someone/something/any group, one needs to know - what that someone/something/any group is all about
- and the definition of the label one is applying.
Study the *history* of Mormonism, and what Mormonism is about.
