Hundreds of books have been written about different archaeological discoveries. Not ONE single fact in the Bible has been proven wrong. Not one archaeologist has proven that the Bible is wrong in the facts it gives about cities, kings, and customs.

Great question and comments too. God bless you. You are correct. Not only the books about the archaelogical facts that show evidence, but how about the book on Bible prophecies that show they have all came true just as predicted. When I hear ppl say you cant prove there is a God or the Bible is real. .... I tend to stand there almost speechless for a bit. ITs like what doesit take. Jesus came and suffered and died so we didnt have to. Yet, ppl mock Him, hate Him and reject Him. The Bible has been proven to be true over and over again, plus all the testimonies of miracles of healing and deliverance.. and ppl say I need more to belive.
No, whts there is enough. You either believe or you dont. ANd if you arent saved, dont blame God or anyone else. It is a choice. Either you are willing to look at all the evidence with an open mind, or you are closed to God. Guess who brought that curse on you? The devil, the one that wants to destroy you on earth and even take you to hell with him. Now, remember the devil believes in God too and knows scripture backwards and forwards, and he will even use that to confuse you and make you rebel against God. JEsus is coming soon, and we are either fully Jesus' or we belong to the devil. Its all choice, and YES there is enough evidence out there to simply KNOW, and not only that, God will reveal the realness of Him right into your heart and mind, if you will just have enough faith to pray and ask Him. Tell him you are sorry for your sins and wont do them anymore. Ask Jesus into your heart, study , pray and watch and see what happens. With the flip of a swtich, you will see things you never saw before. feel things you never felt before, and God will open your eyes to the full kingdom of God. Your ears will be opened. oh yes. But, till you call upon the name of the Lord, you will only get more confused and more rebellious in the things of God.
Disobedience leads to curse, and obedience leads to blessing. God has to do something with the ones that hate Him and want to rebel. wold you want them in Heaven with you, messing up Heaven like they do here on earth, with all the rapes, murders, lies, stealing, gossiping, homosexuality, adultry, false gods, thelist is endless, I will stop here.
On the news recently here locally, we heard of a man that just put his girlfriends new baby in the micowave and burnt that baby severely. We wont have this in Heaven folks, Praise God for the decision He makes about all of us, and if someone wont go to Jesus, they will be lost. we make that choice, and God just acts upon it.
Is there enough proof? Yep. Check it out for yourselves. YOu can tplead ignorance with God. We can all have access to a Bible, and check this out for ourselves. If you cant afford one, most churches will give you one. and you can go to the thrift stores and usually get one for only like two dollers. So, we all have the opportunity. To me, there is a huge risk to take at being lost to hell forever, to NOT check it out for your ownself.
Evidence?? You betcha. More every day.

At least one expert disagrees with you:

Professor of Near Eastern Archaeology, William G. Dever writes:

Until about a generation ago Biblical achaeologists spoke confidently about William Foxwell Albright's "archaeological revolution". It would assuredly enhance our understanding and appreciation of the Bible and its timeless message-which was thought to be absolutely essential to our cherished Western culture condition. The Bible and the "Christian West," as formerly conceived, are fighting for their lives. Not only has modern archaeology not helped to confirm the earlier tradition, it appears to some to be part of the process to undermine it. This is a not-so-well kept secret among professional archaeologists. The failure of the "archaeological revolution" means tryng to occupy the beleaguered middle ground, neither extreme skeptics or naive credulists. The clock cannot be turned back to the time when archaeology allegedly "proved the Bible." Archaeology as it is practiced today must be able to challenge, as well as confirm, the Bible stories. Some things described there really did happen, but others did not. The Biblical narratives about Abraham, Moses, Joshua and Solomon probably reflect some historical memories of people and places, but the "larger than life" portraits of the Bible are unrealistic and contradicted by the archaeological evidence. Some of Israel's ancestors probably did come out of Egyptian slavery, but there was no military conquest of Canaan, and many, if not most, of the Israelites throughout the Monarchy were polytheists. Monotheism may have been an ideal of Bible writers. Archaeology cannot not decide what the supposed events described in the Bible mean. That decision is left up to each individual. Archaeology cannot decide this question; it can only sharpen our focus.

And your point is? They may not have proven parts of it wrong, but they have failed to find evidence for alot of what is described in the Bible, and I'll tell you one thing Archaeologists have proven at least to be borrowed from other cultures and modified to suit the situation, and that is the Flood narrative with Noah, which is almost identical to the Flood narrative in the Ancient Akkadian legend the Epic of Gilgamesh. Also notable about this particular story is that it pre-dates the earliest writings in the Bible by 6-9000 years, the original tablets have been tentatively dated to 12-15000 years old.

Yeah, and plus this!

Was Jesus ever mentioned by anyone except in the Bible?

1. Josephus- was the Jews greatest historian and a General.
He lived the 2nd 1/2 of the 1st century, at the same time as the apostles. He wrote a book called "Antiquities of the Jews".
In book 18, chapter 3, section 3, he wrote:

"About this time lived Jesus, a wise man, if it be proper to call him a wise man, for he was a doer of wonderful works! Teacher of such men as received the truth with pleasure.
He drew over to him both many of the Jews and many of the Greeks, and when Pilot at the instigation of the principal men among us had condemned him to the cross, those who had loved him did not forsake him. For he appeared to them again alive on the third day, the divine prophets having foretold these and many other things concerning him and a sect of Christians so named after him are not extinct to this day."

2. The Talmot- which are Holy Jewish writings refer to Jesus

There are numerous Pagan writings referring to Jesus:

1. Tasadus- was the first centuries greatest Roman historian

2.Suatonius- 2nd greatest Roman historian of the period

3.Epititus

4.Lucian- wrote an entire book about Jesus

5. Aristities

6.Galanus

7.Lampridius

8.Diocashus- also a historian

9. Americus

10. Labanius

11. Amionus

12. Marcolinas

13.Unapius

14.Zosamus

FIVE writers of the period wrote entire books against Jesus:

1. Lucian

2.Selsus- An infamous heritic

3. Porfery

4. Iraclees

5. Julian- the apostate, was an emporer. He wrote 3 volumes against Christ

More rescently, there have been many writers who start out bashing Christ, but later they say wonderful things about him.

For example:

A man named H.L. Menkin.
An atheist, the editor of " American Mercury" magazine , who lived in the 1st 1/4 of the 20th century and was described as being better educated than Robert Ingersall, More sneering than Voltare, and as caustic as George Bernard Shaw.

He spent 30 years trying to tear the bible and Christ apart.

He received daily reports from the "Scopes trial" in Tenn., while he was up in New York. He published articles about it regularly.
And though the Christians won the "Scopes trial", because of Menkins writings, the nation was convinced they'd lost.
He's a very powerful writer.

In his mature years he wrote,"The History of Jesus is seriously no longer questioned by anyone, whether Christian or unbeliever.
The main facts about him seem to be beyond dispute." Also that the Bible was the most beautiful book in the world, and that the story of Jesus was touching beyond compare.

FYI-

There are 5000 Greek writings of the New Testament, and 10,000 in other languages.

Plato had 1400 years between his death and his writings, yet the no one disputes the authenticity of them.

The longest time span between the death of a writer in the Bible and their writings is 250 years.

The Old Testament was written in Hebrew, and the New Testament in Greek, both languages are widely spoken today.

In addition, the Bible has been proven to solve crimes, and to have the power to heal acne. It is made of the strongest substance known to man, and yet is lighter than air.

A single Bible can heat an entire city for a week, and yet gives off no toxic emissions. The Bible is "carbon-neutral", and unlike the iPhone, its battery is removable.

The cover of the Bible can double as an emergency blanket, and the gold leaf has saved thousands by serving as a rescue beacon. In an earthquake, the safest place to be is below your Bible, and in a tornado, you can find safe refuge near the Bible's southwest corner.
---------------------
Yes, William, I know exactly where you and I will both be after death. You can believe all you want in life after death, but in less than 100 years you and I will both be dead and gone, and there's not a damned thing you can do about it. You can insist that you're "saved" or whatever, but in the long run, you and I are both going to cease to exist, and no matter how much you profess to believe otherwise, I'll turn out to have been right, and you will turn out to have been wrong.

It's absolutely inevitable. You can't win this one.

Thanks for finding my comments clever.

Yes, there has. They discovered the tomb of Jesus, his wife Mary and his son. Please check facts before stating them. That is unless of course Christians do historical and archaeological evidence and fact like they do the bible, that is just believe the ones they want to while ignoring the rest.

A lot of fiction novels have actual historical facts involved that can't be proven "wrong" either but that doesn't mean the story is true. You just don't get it at all.

See how their minds work, people? Evolution, the single most evidentially-supported idea in the history of science, is WRONG because it hasn't been proved 100% right. The Bible, on the other hand, is RIGHT because it gets its geography right.

It's great being them.

Did you know that there is NOT ONE shred of proof that the "Slaughter of the Innocents" ever happened. Did you know that the tax that sent Mary and Joesph to Bethlehem never happened? There is no proof for the Exodus? The existence of Moses? The world wide flood of Noah?

Problem is, no one can prove things DO NOT happen.
