There's this really handsome man that I like, but every time I get near him I say something entirely inappropriate. I can't get myself together, and I think that's pushed him away. How can I get my foot out of my mouth and talk normal to him? I really like him, and I wish we could get together...Please help!

if you have your foot in your mouth, I can't see how he'd be pushed away...that's a hell of a "feat"...b/c most people I know can't do that!!!
But in all seriousness...confront him. Tell him how you feel, and I'm sure he'd understand why you have such a hard time behaving in front of him. If he's not at all interested in you, at least he would be flattered by your honesty...who knows, he might even come back after you!!!!!

Practice makes perfect. That or realise that this guy your idolising is no better then anyone. Just because his flaws arnt evident at the moment they are their, belive me. He just hides them better.
I think that song that goes "i noe u like to think you **** dont stink" sorta covered my words to a tee

Everybody get nervous when they like someone, and men do notice that and that's perfectly ok. He probably doesn't like you , that why he doesn't make any moves.
