Am looking to purchase one for vacations, and as a substitute for hotels on trips to weddings, graduations, etc. Any thoughts?

It will be easier to find a spot for the Trailer than a camping space for the pop up. Comfort of the trailer is usually much better. I have used both and do like a pop up if you can find the right spot for it.

The answer is usage, comfort and available parking.
Do you think the Hotel for that wedding is going to let you pop up your pop-up in thier parking lot.
It's going to be hard enough finding a place to park the trailer.
WHAT do YOU really want and what are you really going to use it for.
