Guardian Angels
Do angels care for people and protect them? The apostle Paul asked: “Are they [angels] not all spirits for public service, sent forth to minister for those who are going to inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:14) Clearly, the answer to Paul’s question is yes.
Because of their refusal to bow down before a golden image erected by Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar, the three Hebrews Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were hurled into a superheated furnace. However, those faithful servants of God were untouched by the fire. When the king looked into the furnace, he saw “four able-bodied men,” and said that “the appearance of the fourth one [was] resembling a son of the gods.” (Daniel 3:25) Some years later, Daniel found himself in a lions’ pit because of his faithfulness. He too escaped unharmed and declared: “My own God sent his angel and shut the mouth of the lions.”—Daniel 6:22.
With the establishment of the congregation of Christ’s followers in the first century C.E., angels again appeared, freeing the apostles from prison. (Acts 5:17-24; 12:6-12) And when Paul’s life was imperiled at sea, an angel assured him that he would arrive safely in Rome.—Acts 27:13-24.
Present-day servants of Jehovah God are fully convinced that God’s invisible angelic forces are real and are able to provide protection, as they did for Elisha and his attendant. (2 Kings 6:15-17) Indeed, “the angel of Jehovah is camping all around those fearing him, and he rescues them.”—Psalm 34:7; 91:11.
The Message Angels Carry
While the angels are concerned about the welfare of those who serve Jehovah God, they are also involved in seeing to it that people learn about him and his purpose. The apostle John wrote: “I saw another angel flying in midheaven, and he had everlasting good news to declare as glad tidings to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people, saying in a loud voice: ‘Fear God and give him glory.’”

This portion from the "gotquestions.org" article cited below briefly summarizes the "guardian angels" issue. To read the entinre "answer," visit the website... it is a wealth of answers to many Christian-relation questions.
"It cannot be emphatically answered from Scripture whether each believer has a guardian angel assigned to him/her. God does use them in ministering to us. He uses them like He uses us, i.e. He in no way needs us or them to accomplish His purposes, but chooses to use us nonetheless (Job 4:18; Job 15:15). And in the end, whether we have an angel assigned to protect us or not, we have a greater assurance that God gives: that if we are His children through faith in Christ, He works all things together for good (Romans 8:28-30), and that Jesus Christ will never leave us or forsake us."
Thanks, and God Bless!

I believe in both guardian angels and spirit guides although guardian angels are not around us as much as our spirit guides.

I think people can have guardian angels or angels sent to do specific things on Earth. It is in the Bible, but there is not too much explanation as to what role Angels play. I think its basically what God requires of them as opposed to everyone strictly having a guardian angel.
After all it is God who constantly watches our every move.

I am a believer in the Torah, the Bible and the Quran and all other revelations from GOD to mankind.
Here's the absolute truth.
Each one of us has 2 Angels that guard our bodies at all times from the time we are born till we die, they record everything we say and DO and they will show us all that on the day of judgment in front of God. The Angels do this ONLY as commanded by God and as long as HE wants them to protect us.
There is a third Angel that guards our soul, He will eventually come to collect it on the day that we die.
The Holy Spirit (Whose name is Gabriel) breathes into every single human being when we are born by the Command of God when we are still in our mothers wombs. When God wants to guide us He commands the Spirit to Guide us and if we take the wrong path ... God assigns us Satans to take us further astray.
The Angels and the Holy Spirit are all created beings like us, they only difference is that they are pure and perfect creatures and do EXACTLY as GOD commands ... no more and no less. The Angels and the Holy Spirit stand above ALL creation of GOD ... and GOD Stands above ALL .... far far far above anything and anyone, His extent is unfathomable.
May peace be upon you and may you find guidance to the ONE true GOD of us ALL.

I don't really believe we have specific guardian angels. [ I'm a Christian btw ] I believe God watches over us and that sometimes He sends angels to do a certain thing to help us out.

To many people die untimely deaths. Either their angels are not doing their job or some people don't have one.
I believe that angels watch out for people so we don't blow ourselves and the planet to pieces but other than that we are kind of on our own..
