The pictures are taken from another plane using a telephoto lens. The plane in the picture is probably on a training flight with no passengers anyway. If you see a plane out the window it probably has missiles under the wing and a pilot with no sense of humour;-)

In fact, they do have either helicopters or jet airplanes flying near them, take the picture. It is called a chase aircraft, and there are usually 2 or 3 of them right near them. the chase aircraft almost always have a special helicopter or fixed wing with robotic, turning cameras controlled from the inside, remotely. there is nobody hanging off the ladder of a helicopter with a kodak camera at thirty thousand feet, and I am 90% sure that they don't hire UFO's.

Well the government has created an alliance with a "nearby" Extra Terrestrial civilization. This civilization takes pictures and movies of our aircraft so that they can learn more about us. We in turn study their aircraft at Area 51 so that we can learn about and expand on their technology. All U.F.O. sightings are just 1. friendly E.T.'s taking pictures of our aircraft or 2. normal American people trying to fly the U.F.O.'s so that they can learn more about them.

Both. All the Pictures that you see of the 787 including the ones in Flight are CGI generated. We haven't yet flown that one. They also use chase planes and Helicopters.
