"The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism, and become lesbians." (Pat Robertson direct mail, Summer 1992)
What an idiot!

I'm what you guys would regard as a right wing fundie fanatic Christian. I'm strongly opposed to Robinson. He has done some great things for the cause of Christianity. Such as starting the ACLJ Which is a Christian version of the ACLU. He also started a couple Christian universities and a couple great charities. All of which are going strong and doing wonderful Christian work. His ministry the 700 Club also has a great 24/7 live Christian prayer line which has helped me over the years tremendously. But in recent years he's been going off the deep end by supporting liberal candidates like Rudolph Giuliani for president in 2008 and coming out with crazy prophecy doomsday predictions. I don't know if it's because he's getting old and senile or what. But something is definitely up with that guy in recent years.

He's a con man, just like others on televangelist shows. They all make me sick. They are rich, arrogant, condemning, self-righteous liars, making money exploiting the hopes and dreams of many poor, ill educated people. Some house bound old folks sign their pensions over to them "for the Lord's work" , which actually pays for $1,000 suits, $75,000 cars, and God knows how expensive private jets. There must be a special place in hell for these wolves in sheep's clothing!

I wish him and his other followers would quit taking up my tv time. I swear everytime i turn on the tv there are 5 channels devoted to prayer and bible stuff. And on Saturday mornings there are always preachers doing talks on all the channels. Where did the cartoons go?!?!

He worships himself and subscribes to neoconservative ideology and he thinks that the governments should be over-run and replaced with Christian fundamentalist leaders who will impose a church state that condones stoning everybody who thinks diferently.

God sure tells him to do some weird stuff. My favorite was when God told him to run for President. I guess God really wanted him to look like and a**.
