Since you guys been out for a week,i think is too fast to make a move such as kissing, touching around, etc. There's no need to be in a hurry,it's not like he's going to die or anything, just relax and go with the flow.Let him make the move first, let him be the man and i'm sure he will make a move first eventually. If you make a move first,he'll probably think you're an easy girl or desperate.
So the next time you see him again, just hang out how you guys normally do and have fun, don't think too much about it.

If you were good friends before, then that might be the problem. Maybe he thinks of you still as a best friend, and not girlfriend? maybe he's gay? Maybe he is just a shy guy? There is nothing wrong with a woman making the first move, this is the 21st century for Gods sake! You don't have to do anything bizarre, just give him a kiss. or maybe just tell him how you feel, communication is the best thing in a relationship!

I'd say just do it. Next time you see him give him a hug and a kiss, not a huge one, just a small one. If you both like each other and have known each other a long time whats the point of letting things stay uncomfortable? At least after this you both should know where you stand.
Really hope this helps :)

Just let things floooow!
Just slide your hand into his, it's simple. =) Don't worry about making the first move, just don't come on too hard. [( Meaning- don't try to shove your tongue down his throat the first time you kiss, haha! )]
Don't ever stop being friends though!!!
Because you were good friends before, I have a feeling the relationship will last longer and be a lot better than you could ever imagine. =)
And people always claim that they marry their best friend....
=D Good luck!

After both of us beating around the bush, too afraid to actually do anything...not knowing if the 'signals' were being read or interpreted properly...my (now) wife finally had enough. We had just been laughing over something (I can't remember what) she looked at me, leaned forward and kissed me hard and long. "son of a gun' I thought, "I wasn't imagining it..she really does like me..." Only then did I have the courage to kiss her back.
Now..what do you think my advice is?? SOMEBODY has to make the first move...why not you?? (LOL!) :)))

Why not start by sitting near him, and reaching out to hold his hand? This is a non-threatening way of letting him know you want to be close, and then let him take it from there? Don't push for anything more, its early days yet. Just let it grow naturally, it will feel much nicer then.

If he wants to hold ur hand but can't make the move...just grab his hand.
Just make small moves like taking his hand or hugging him.
You'll eventually get more comfortable around each other.

arent you going out?
you make the first move, he is just as scared as you!
suggest to watch a movie at a house (not in theatre...armrests make it auckuard) and get close, hold his hand, put your head on his chest (my bf says is drivees him crazy) and just watch, dont go to fast! as you get more comforstabel (sign of that would be you arent holding yourslef up inorder not to feel heavy on his chest) get closer. then go in for the kiss. just short sweet, innocent. this is vital DONT FREEZE UP STOP TALKING ANYTHING LIKE THAT AFTER YOU KISS HIM!!!
be casual, and relax. hw will probably kiss you again!
good luckkk =D
