Who said angel food cake was healthy? Lol.
Both are good.
Angel food cake goes well with fruits over it, witn maybe ice cream and creme brule'.
Devils food cake has chocolate. Need to say anymore? Of course not. Good devils cake has kirsch, cherries, pure chocolate flakes and real whipped cream. Adding ice cream is sacrilege.
My answer is both, depending on what you are serving for dinner.

I like those cakes that use both in one cake, and then use whipped cream instead of normal frosting. Oh man, I can't wait until the next birthday day at the office.

I prefer Angel Food Cake. It's light, lower-cal, non-fat, and DEEELICIOUS topped with MOUNDS of Cool-Whip Free and strawberries!! Mmmm my mouth is watering!
