This is my spin on the seven layer dip it's a lot of work but everyone finishes it:
1st layer taco seasoned ground meat(1 lb ground meat and taco seasoning)
2nd layer refried beans (I get the can of refried beans and sautee some onion about 2 tbs and bacon about 2 strips together then add the beans)
3rd layer pico de gallo (I get 6 plum tomatoes dice them, about 1/2 cup yellow onion, 3-5 jalapeño pepers de-seeded and chopped, lime juice from 2 limes and salt to taste let sit in fridge for 2 hours)
4th layer homemade guacamole (3 avacados, lime juice, 1 tsp onion powder, salt to taste)

6th layer Mexican blend cheese I think Kraft puts it out

Cold French Onion dip! How to:
Go to the store
Go to the dairy section
Run by the chip aisle
Purchase
And Enjoy
HA HA I also like this dip, not sure what it's called but you mix together cream cheese and salsa and you should get a pinky color, then put it in the fridge for an hour or two. Serve with Tostitos for a dip that is the best!

2 favorties: 1) Green Onion dip, which is simly a matter of mixing a packet of green onion dip mix with real sour cream (Daisy).
2) Spinach Dip in a bread bowl:
Mix together: 1 pt. sour cream 1/2 c. mayonnaise 10 oz. pkg. frozen spinach (thawed & squeezed dry) 8 oz. can water chestnuts, chopped.
Cut the top from a loaf of round bread; hull out center and lay pieces around loaf. Fill in center with the dip. Use the bread pieces for dipping.

Heat 6 oz of cream cheese, 1/2 cup of sour cream, 2 tbsp of mayonaise, a bunch of parmesan cheese, and tbsp mozzarella cheese in a sauce pan. Add chopped artichoke hearts (1 bottle), chopped, wilted spinach, a quarter of an onion chopped finely, and 2 cloves of garlic, some salt and pepper. Heat it all till all the cheese is melted and the texture is just the way you want it. And you got yourself some yummy Spinach and Artichoke dip.

Cold, but you could heat it, it would be reallllly loose though.
8 oz cream cheese
1 can black beans (I like the Kuner's southwestern style with cumin and spices already in it)
1 cup salsa (my fav is On The Border Mild Salsa)
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
Blend all ingredients together in a blender and serve in a fun bowl with tortilla chips. Or put into microwave safe bowl and heat in 15 second intervals until at desired temperature and serve with chips. Hope you like it. I use it in my breakfast burritos for another layer of flavor. Enjoy!

spinach dip:
frozen spinach defrosted & drained
sour cream
mayonaise (use more sour cream than mayo (use a lot of sour cream))
lipton dry soup mix
garlic
onion powder
mozarella cheese
mix until creamy
then i put shrimp in it
peal shrimp and cut into pieces
in a pan mix butter
olive oil
orange juice and turn on low
put shrimp in until they turn pink
then mix everything together including the juices from the shrimp mix and heat in the oven or microwave until the spinach is done. if u use the microwave, heat for a couple of minutes then stir, then heat again, until its hot and bubbly.
then eat it with garlic bread...it is the bomb!!!
I don't measure when i make it, i just taste it until its the right flavor.

Here's something my hubby made up.
1 can refried beans with jalapenos (Like Rosarita)
1/3 pound Velveeta, cubed
1/2 a bottle at least of Taco Bell Hot Sauce
Nuke, stirring occasionally until hot. Add a little milk if you need to thin it out. I swear we can eat a whole bowl of it in one day! (And we add more hot sauce.)
