Well of course, men are usually all about power and control i.e. war, and woman are usually about caring and supporting.

As a woman, I have a lot of pride in my gender. However, to say that women are the answer is as bad as saying men are the only problem. I don't think gender is the determining factor on whether or not someone would make a good leader. That said, we are still in the dark ages without more women in leadership. Gender inequity is certainly still an issue but I don't think going in the opposite direction, with women as the primary leaders, is the right answer either. I've seen enough women pose as ditzy idiots (the same women think celebrity news is as valid as world news) to know that the females of this species need to raise the bar a bit too. I guess the phrase "same story, different characters" is applicable for men and women.

Read Joseph Campbell's "Hero With a Thousand Faces" and you'll see what the world's collective mythology and religion (yes, religion as mythology) has to say about the origin of men and woman and the truest purpose of a gender dichodmy. You'll love it because Campbell uses world mythology to come to a viable conclusion about how "personkind" originally viewed the place of gender in society. It seems we were once more balanced than we are even now. Another reading selection is "The Chalice and the Blade."

Well, I think women put a whole different perspective on the opinions of how to solve some world problems. Better than men? I dont know, but women should definitely be involved in decisions and the construction of ideas to help better our world

I don't think it's just women or just men who can fix the world's problems. Quite frankly, as I see it, the world's problems will never fully be resolved. But I guess that's a whole other topic...

Both men and women have their strengths and weaknesses. To me, men are more focused and can see the end product, if you will. However, they may overlook certain details along the way. That's where the women come in: they are more aware of different details but can lose themselves amongst them. If men and women work together, one not trying to out do the other, then I think a lot can be accomplished between them.

I have consistently noted that women, especially feminist women, have had the most workable ideas for reform. Their problem is finding an audience for those ideas in an overwhelmingly male ruling class, not just the electorate.

well we take care of everything else we still have the children and now earn a living and take care of the children and the home so we can do it all and I am sure we can solve the world's problems as men do not do anything and doing less.

Don't want to sound sexist, but I don't think so. A lot of country still see women as the weaker sex; therefore, women's opinions and ideas will never leave the table.

I think that it takes an intelligent person to make changes period. Women tend to be more emotional and men more rational I think we need to work together to come to middle ground.
