If you know that you are definitely not going to her wedding and reception NOW then you need to inform her NOW so she does not order you a dinner.
Send the RSVP back now. The wedding gift can be sent before or after the wedding date. Wedding gifts can be sent up to one year after the ceremony.

Send the response first. Mail the gift closer to the wedding.

I'd send the regret first then send the wedding gift AFTER they are married just in case she calls the wedding off! Plus, it will be more special if it arrives unexpectedly! Furthermore, you can take inventory on what she received and you won't give her a duplicate gift!

it usually customary to send gifts a few weeks before the wedding anyone. when letting some one know that you will not be attending their wedding it is always nice to send the gift a few weeks before and sending the regret that you wont be attending a week or two before that.

Send a card immediately, and Say regretfully you won;t be able to attend, but a gift will follow shortly after the wedding.

Mail it after the regrets but before the wedding. Otherwise, wait until at least a week afterwards. They will be on their honeymoon and might not be available to receive it.

it all depends if they have their household set up or not. some people sent gift to my mom's house, they did not know my new address. send saying i can not attend i am so sorry. you either send the present before the wedding or the week afterwards, they will be busy otherwise.

you should send your response sooner than later; she may need to get a head count to thecaterer, or corrdinator. you can let your friend know (at the bottom of your regret) that your gift will follow even if it arrives after the ceremony.

Yeah absolutely. My cousins live in Canada. We send them money here from North Carolina. All over Canada they are able to transfer the money to Canadian bills. But also many stores and places accept American money too.
