Could be because, in my opinion, Islam is founded upon violence, intolerance, ignorance and hatred.
This being said, the ONLY way they can respond to criticism is with violence.

Unlike Christianity where Jesus taught to tolerate abuse, and even love your enemy, Islam teaches hatred and murder and as recent history has proven Muslims will kill people for the least bit of criticism. That's one religion the civilized world can do without.

Allah is Arabic for God, so it would be the same thing if you went up to a Baptist and criticized God. That's what they believe in and people should have respect.

The same reasons people go nuts when others criticize God, Jesus, Buddha, or any other of the like.

They feel the need to defend Allah from the unbelievers.

We are supposed to worship Him, and it is part of whorship to try our best to correct misconceptions and disinformations about both God and our religion. and on the other hand if you love someone and some people critcize her/him because of misunderstandings, you become sorry and try to inform people correctly.. isn't GOD big enough to fight his fight? YES.
as for allah..he dead..he can't fight his fight.
JESUS rose..so GOD is real..would you die for a lie?
like them apostless did? or them christians eating by lions..killed by bulls..as sport entertainment? I think not.
they died..because they SAW CHRIST LIVED.
their prophet ect..died.and never returned.
their religon is anti freedom..very communism. worest or female..their allah said..woman are donkey for being a creator like Christian GOD..this allah has no respect for woman equality with man..yet, man is chosen to be the SPIRITUAL LEADER..and OUR GOD said..husband LOVES your wife..LIKE CHRIST..love the church congregation..is there respect in this? YES..that why islam..is NOT of GOD..but satan.
