That would depend on his/her views on the issues.. Voting history on the issues (if applicable)..

I would not vote for anyone solely based on their religious beliefs or non-beliefs... It takes far more than a religious belief or non-belief to make a good leader..

Again, if he supported the same issues as I did I would have no problem at all. I kind of like the idea of a Buddhist president! I vote issues not beliefs.

Considering the war right now, I'm hoping a Buddhist president would get us out of there. However, my vote depends on where he or she decides about the political issues.

Yes. I'm a Roman Catholic, and would vote for a Buddhist if I genuinely felt that he or she was the best possible candidate for the job.

as a buddhist, maybe. if he were a liberal, and a raging one, hells yeah i would, id love a buddhist in the white house, at least itd calm things down and keep us out of war for 4 years.
