No, the Coca Cola company made Cherry coke to satisfy the taste of customers. The Jack Daniels is your own addition, but a great one.

I think Cherry Coke is devilishly good! And instead of Jack make mine Bacardi!
PS there is this Mexican place we go sing karaoke at. They have a frozen Jack and Coke! Its like a slurpee with a kick! Even if its not Bacardi, its darn good.

Bottled cherry coke is nothing like the real thing: coke classic with cherry syrup, from an old-fashioned drug store. Now THAT is heaven. No JD needed.

Well that's your taste, I personally can't stand fizzy drinks of any flavour, and don't drink alcohol. Although many of my friends like cherry coke, maybe I'm just a freak, oh well.
