I am a 21 year old guy in college always on the go and I have not eaten the breakfast meal since junior high school. I have noticed lately that my poor nutrition intake is taking its toll on me. I am always tired, feeling lethargic and run down.

I realize now that I should probably make eating breakfast a priority, so I would like to know what would be an ideal breakfast? What kind of foods should I eat for optimal health?

If I eat breakfast, I have to eat all day. Big time loss of production n money. In jail you get 1% milk, Tea, orange half, meat or starch. Each day is differant. Jail nutritionist are informed but, tastes like butt. When I do eat breakfast of any kind, I feel better. Hamburger with anything or tomato juice or Sausage. Eat anything. Breakfast is a time of day. Not a spacific meal.

scrambled eggs (protein) and high fiber bread . Have a piece of fruit either before you eat the eggs or after. Not at the same time. You need protein in the morning. It feeds your brain. carbos give you a boost of energy. You'll crash and burn on carbos alone. Like I said protein will stay with you a lot longer and get you through until morning break.

Don't forget to drink your water and take a daily vitamin!!

Here are a few of my favorite high nutritional choices:

1) Kashi cereal with whatever kind of fruit you want on top. Kashi cereal is AMAZING and loaded with protein and fiber. Add some low fat milk with it and fruit and the breakfast is unbeatable.
2) Frozen waffles (either eggo nutrigrain or kashi) loaded with protein and fiber. Spread with penut butter or sugar free syrup.
3) Penut butter toast or penut butter apples, penut butter is great for you in the morning.
4) Shakes! Smoothie king makes great nutritional shakes or throw some low fat frozen yogurt, whey protein, fruit, and milk in a blender.

Hope it helped!
