I'm worried that my body will get accustomed to both and once I stop the Trazodone, the good feeling I get from Trazodone will go away and the Celexa alone will not be sufficient,

I guess I can up the dose of Celexa once I no longer need the Trazodone for sleep. I am on 20 mg of Celexa right now, and I heard that some people are on 40 mg. (I plan on using the Trazodone for a long period until winter time when I will feel comfortable to wing of the Trazodone.)

Celexa is an anti-depressant and trazodone is a sleeping aid so if you stop either one the other one will still work since they are both for different things. Also keep in mind that it takes at least 3 weeks for any anti-depressant to work and they start you on smaller doses to see what works for you. Hope this answers it for you, you can email me if you need any other info :)

I am not currently on celexa, but I take other anti-depressants since i am always so tired & sad for no reason ... I take it in the morning and it wakes me right up and then I am ready for the long crappy day. So if you have insomnia I am not sure you should stop the trazadone if it helps you sleep. But the celexa should work anyways even if you stop the trazadone.

these are questions you need to ask your doctor. The celexa is an ssri for depression, and the trazadone is a trycyclic antidepressant with the side effect of making one drowsy. So now you are taking two antidepressants, it may be the celexa is what caused your insomnia, it has that side effect. So, you may need to take both from now on.
