How do u get Microsoft excel to actually print out with the lines??

In Excel, read the Help files. It's a print function.

In Excel, goto File Menu, Choose 'Page Setup'. Select 'Sheet' Tab.

About 1/2 way down dialog you'll see PRINT.
and below you'll see your options...
[ ] Gridlines
Check this box.

in the print options check the print gridlines box

select your data - headings and data which you have input
it should be highlighted
click Format
click Cells
click Border
select a border
click the Border and Inside buttons

put boarders around all of your cells
