The question was about God creating aids.... Neither point of view is correct.... so it is a bit disingenuous to pick on Christians alone when the ignorance of the question is just as incorrect. I don't really understand why anyone has to assign a nefarious instigator to a natural event... Scientist didn't create AIDS to get rid of Blacks or Gays.... God didn't create AIDS to punish sinners. Your question is a gross misapplication of what was said in your previous question.
My statement is very simple
1.) Science can identify HIV
2.) They can tell where it came from--homosexuality
3.) What is holding them back in finding a cure
4.) Put blame away--and find a cure--instead of blaming God.
5.) If you say God did it you are recognizing God as the creator.
6.) Argue with those facts not faith--find the fallacy in the proof that God did it.. Thus disproving evolution.

I am sure not all Christians believe that. And there are probably some people from other religions/belief systems who do believe that.

You did get some really dumb answers to your other question. Just don't start a flame war over it and target any single group of people.

You seem like the most lost individual here, you just asked why god plagued mankind with AIDS, and then you think Christians believe it came from scientists... What a load!

As I recall, Christians used to believe that it was a punishment handed down by god to destroy gay people. Well, that apparently wasn't the case.

I'm sure their current answers are better than any you have.

I believe it crawled out of you assh*le!

I read the answers and alot of people think that man created it. I checked on them and most don't seem like Christians to me so why do you say "Christians believe scientists created AIDS"? Why don't you get your facts straight. For your information, most Christians believe that God created it as a punishment for sin.

Well, friend, I don't know *any* Christian who believes that scientists created G.R.I.D.(Gay Related Immune Deficiency), which, in this P.C. world, quickly got changed to A.I.D.S.(Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome)! Diseases come about in may ways; I (who, BTW, am a Christian) have heard that it *may* have started by bestiality, from male humans having unprotected sexual contact with green monkeys, then quickly spread through unprotected sexual homosexual contact and/or male zoophiliacs and/or bisexuals having unprotected sexual contact with human females.

Later: Oh, yes, I had forgotten about eating monkey brains! Thanks, for the reminder, Phoenix!

Dear Miss Catherine: What kind of a Christian uses an expression like "wtf"? Makes me think you're a phony!

Dear me, what will people come up with next, I know I've heard all about the beastiality origin (false), and that it was made to punish homosexuals (false, it's also big on heteros to don't you know).

In reality, most have put it down to people's bizarre need to eat exotic dishes, such as primate brains, and as such someone caught it, sort of like how humans can get Mad Cows Disease. It's the one with the most validity, so let's see how many haven't heard that version.

i like the theory of spontaneous generation. It died some time ago when sperm and eggs were discovered. But now I find that sin a moral transgression of some kind caused the spontaneous creation of a virus. I think the biology textbooks will have to be rewritten in accordance with the will of GWB.

Nonsense.
I know no Christian ,however far out, that believes such a thing.
However, I know that the paranoid- attractive power of conspiracy theories is almost irrisistible for some people.
