I usually do a breakfast thing. Throw some frozen hash browns and sausage in the skillet. Put a lid on it and let it cook while you scramble up some eggs. Throw the eggs in the skillet and stir the whole mess occasionally while you fix some toast. You dirty 1 pan, 1 bowl, a fork and a knife and whatever you use to serve the food. (If you're by yourself, you can eat it right from the pan)

I got 3 recipies for you... :)
1) A really greek one: it is scrambled eggs actually but way too tastier... ;)
I'll tell you the ingredients for one person:
2 eggs, olive oil, two tomatoes, any cheese you like (sweet or salty preferably) oregano, paprika of any color, salt and pepper.
Stir the eggs in bowl, while warm the olive oil up in a pan. Slice the cheese the paprikas and tomoatoes in little pieces (keep the tomato juice) and mix them with the eggs. Put everything in the olive oil and stir until the cheese melts, and the tomato color turns to orange-red. A good choice of cheese would be roquefort, or mozzarella or greek cheeses like Graviera or Feta. When everything is ready you serve and put some oregano all over.
2) Spaghetti with pesto sauce.
For the pesto sauce you will need olive oil, basil, parmesan. You put all the pesto ingredients in a small mixer, and mix them until their one creamy sauce.
You boil the spaggheti and cover it with the sauce. Serve with parmesan
3) Spaghetti with my special simple sauce..
You will need for my special sauce, mushrooms, red wine, olive oil, tomatoes, and oregano. You warm the olive oil up in a pan, and then put the mushrooms in. When the mushrooms are cooked, you add the wine. You lower the temperature of the stove, and wait until more than half of the wine is sucked up by the mushrooms. You add the tomatoes then (grated) and cook the mix all together. When the sauce is cooked (it takes about 10-15 mins) you serve over the spaghetti with cheese, and pinch of oregano on top..
There are lots of other recipies I can give you, but they are not suitable when you are in a lazy kind of mood...
Delivery will always keep your kitchen clean and save you the trouble, but nothing tastes like homemade dinner... ;) :)

Chili! Defrost some mince, through in a can of chopped tomatoes, can of kidney beans, small bit of tomato paste. Spice it up to your own taste. Serve it up with cornbread or rice or couscous...
Quick empanadas, well, kind of. Keep some canned biscuits on hand, and roll them out bit enough to put a handful of spiced beef or spiced chicken in the center-- cook this separate in a frying pan, add some cheese and veggies if you want, and fold over the biscuit and seal the edges with your fingers and cook until golden brown. You can serve them beans and rice or mashed potatoes, whatever!
Another good recipe is using canned croissants (I tend to just keep some of both on hand in case I get creative and think of a good way to use them), and roll them up with hot dogs in the center, add a piece of cheese inside as well if you like, and bake for the regular about of time... super easy (and quick, 15 minutes or so, whatever your croissant package says), serve it up with anything from fries to chips to salad. I imagine this would be a big hit with kids.

Bake a big potato, somother it with butter, sour cream season it with salt and pepper. If you like add some cheese, put some chopped onions on it,or if you have any left over veggies fill it with them. A bake potato can be easy, mess free, delicious and can be served in lots of ways . Its best to bake in a conventional oven wrapped in foil or microwave oven if you wrap it in saran wrap. The secret is keep the as much moisture in the potato as possible. If you take a small plastic scrub you can wash the potato scrubbing it as you go,coat the out side in butter or margine and salt, wrap it and bake serve dressed with you favorite stuffing and eat potato skin and all,you will be pleasantly surprised. Good luck and let me know how it goes..

Real lazy?....Mr. Noodles add some frozen peas and shrimp and/or scallops. You can also add some cooked leftover meat such as chicken.
Not as lazy?...stir fry some veggies and either seafood or chicken. Make a sauce with cornstarch, water, brown sugar and peanut butter. Stir it all together and season with whatever you like (garlic, ginger, cayenne pepper, etc.) and then serve over cooked Mr. Noodles or rice.

I have a lot of nights like this. One of my favorite standby meals is soup and a sandwich. I love grilled cheese, and over the years I have added ham and tomatoes or used different kinds of cheese added mayo inside, tried it on the outside instead of butter, just so it doesn't get boring.
I also make a macaroni and cheese dish, that is fairly easy...cook macaroni noodles. In a separate pan add two table spoons of butter/margarine two table spoons of flour and cook together on low heat until it it thick. Add one cup of milk, seasonings, and cook to a boil. add cheese...stirring til melted...pour over noodles and blend together. For a little more work, you can put it in a casserole dish, add additional cheese to the top and put in the oven until the cheese melts.

Cut up some veggies (carrots, radishes, broccoli, cucumber) with dipping.
Omelet,
Or spaghetti,
Or a steak (season and grill - easy).
I also like to cut some tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. Drizzle with Olive Oil, salt and pepper, and basil.
