If they are not a member of my church then I don't like it. Judgment is to be within the church to be ligit.

I think that the person saying it has no right to judge their brother and that judging should be left to God because He knows the heart.

I also think that the person saying it needs to get off his/her self righteous high horse and realize that the Scriptures say that ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and that the only reason we are justified at all in God's eyes is because of Jesus' atoning work and has nothing to do with our own works.

They may be a Christian but their actions may not be Christian, or in fulfillment of the Christian way. Christianity is about moral perfection free from sin. Naturally it is impossible for us to fully met those standards. People try to twist it though and say that, since we cannot meet those perfect standards, that makes Christianity bad.

well, non-Christians don't know what its like to be a Christian
and a Christian shouldn't say that about another Christian because it could hurt the body of Christ
if they have a problem with another Christian they should take it up with them personally
Paul even said it was our responsibility to take another Christian to the side and reprimand him. It is our duty to maintain integrity in the body of Christ.

WHO ARE WE TO JUDGE ???
and what about
THOSE WHO ARE FREE OF SIN...
GO AHEAD, THROW THE FIRST STONE
I am no one to judge and believe me I try as hard as I can not to do it cause I am not clean of sins and we all make mistakes, what makes us strong is once we have committed that fault, being able to recognize it and then take action in order to better ourselves

err... i think that you really cant say that person isnt a christian no matter how they act. As long as they believe in jesus and pray for there sins theres no real reason to think theyre not christian

The term "No true Scotsman" comes to mind.. it's an excuse so christians don't have to take responsibility for bad behavior... along with "satan tempted me, I backslid, I'm not perfect, just forgiven.. none of us can be Jesus.. look to him and not us" kind of excuses.

It's a Christian's favorite excuse to cover up who they really are deep within.

"He's not a real Christian"; this same person will then treat you like garbage later. "You wicked atheist/pagan/ect...!"

Matthew 7:
21 Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord," shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?"
23 And then I will declare to them, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness."
