I have a 6 month old miniature pinscher who might be 3 weeks pregnant i dont know maybe 2 weeks.
How can i know for sure withought going to the vet and wasting money?
her private place is very swolen and her stomach is hard and it seems her nipples are getting ALIITLE bigger....i dont think she is restless alot
Could you tell me if she is or tell me how to look out for signs?????

well if she is which it sounds like she is ,after she has the puppies please have her spayed we have enough unwanted puppies,dogs,cats and kittens in this country .

Unfortunately there is no way to tell for sure if she is pregnant or not unless you take her to the vet or wait the 63 days it takes for gestation. The reason I say this is that some dogs will go through a complete false pregnancy. They will actually nest, put on weight, their nipples will enlarge, and their sacks will fill with milk. You can watch their stomach and a week or so before the due date you will, most likely, be able to see some stomach movement. Most likely, if she has not been in contact with any male dogs, then she is in heat or going out of heat which will cause some of these same symptoms. Good luck, and you may just have to bring her to the vet!

Going to the vet is NOT wasting money. I am concerned that her stomach is so hard this early in the pregnancy. Are you sure she is only two weeks along? She is awfully young to be pregnant. The answer here is you need to take her to a vet and have her checked. Then, when you have a due date, plan on having her x-rayed at around 55 - 57 days. Then be prepared for a possible Caesarian Section which will cost you a few hundred dollars. If you don't want to "waste" money on all of this, have her spayed NOW and avoid the problem again in the future.

If you think going to the vet is wasting money then I believe you should give the dog to someone else. Obviously there is something wrong with your dog, whether it's pregnant or not you should take her to the vet. Your dog shouldn't be pregnant at 6 months of age anyway. What kind of pet owner are you? Give the dog to someone who will care for the dog as it's obvious you don't!

dogs are not sexsually mature at the age of 6 months they are at one year and that is when she will go into heat the first time.she might be having a false pregnency but i doubt it at this age,she could possibly have worms or just be bloated.you can call the vet and explain the syptoms of the dog and they would prefer something just calling is free!but are you sure that she is 6 months?and swelling of the private place is a sign that she is in heat which is what this sounds like.

It will not be a waste of you money to take your dog to the vet it may be a way to save your dogs life. A small breed dog that is pregnant at such a young age can actualy cause death if she is trying to deliver pups theough a pelvic opening that is to small for the pups to get out. Go to the vet they will be able to help you

I know that when they are in heat, they have allot of the same symptoms of being pregnant. The vulva always swells when they are in heat. My Chihuahua's privates swell up huge when she is in heat and her nipples enlarge as well. I think the only way to tell this early on is a sonogram. I would try to find out ASAP because I don't think it is very safe for a puppy that young to be pregnant. I hope all ends up well for you and your baby.

this is very early for her to get pregnant...but all the signs sound like early pregnancy.

If she is a pedigree don't let her get pregnant with any other dog apart from her breed again!!!

Well, my mom used to breed cats... i'm sure that your dog is pregnant from what i've studied.
