People are against hunters because they know nothing about hunting. I think they think we go to places like the zoo to shoot what we shoot. Since this is a free country, they are allowed to have their opinion, and we are allowed to have ours. We are also allowed to hunt, so God Bless the USA.

Listen, man! People who are against hunters do not understand the balance of nature, that if you allow the population of the animals to get too high, that the animals would get a disease and they will all die, then there would be no more deer and game to see!
So, if they understood that if you put regulations on the amount of game you can harvest, then you can keep a healthy population of game for the future to enjoy, through the thinning of the herd; population etc.
From what I've found out, most of these people who do not like hunters are a bunch of hypocrites!
I wonder what the anti-hunter people eat for dinner? Where do they get their protein! A big fat juicy steak? Yep, you got it!
Where do they get their leather shoes, belts, jackets, and so forth? Yep, you got it, from the slaughter of animals!!
The anti-hunters don't need to tell me anything!!
Hunting is an America Tradition that I will hold as a badge of Honor, and that I will most definitely pass on to my chidren and grand children!!!!!
Good luck out there!

People are against hunters and hunting because they do not understand that this is one of the best, if not the best, wildlife management tools available. If there would be no hunting many animals will die of starvation or in car/animal collisions. There are just so many animals any part of our country can sustain. Without hunting there will be uncontrolable growth of herds, packs etc. Without hunting wildlife will get closer to people, ravage gardens crops, property, or depending on the animal, attack pets or even humans. Finally, most hunters simply enjoy being outdoors, whether they kill an animal or not. There are many more hunters out in the woods each huntingseason then there are animals killed each year.

Because, they are city people. They have never been in or lived in the wilderness. They don't have the respect for it that we do, therefor they don't understand it.
They don't understand it or know about it yet they try to "protect" it. Little do they know what would happen if hunting turned illegal. Animals become overpopulated, diseased, and eventually starve to death.
Hunters are a part of the food chain in the wild. The amount of animals killed is strictly regulated by what needs to be taken to keep the population healthy.
Another reason they don't like us is because they think we are all "trophy" hunters. You know, rich people who kill animals just for the hide and antlers. I personally don't keep any trophy's, I eat them ; )

They have been conditioned since childhood that animals are all kind, good and benevolent and all humans are evil and bloodthirsty. See any Disney movie from the last 50 years.
It's an early indoctrination into being a Knee-Jerk, non-thinking American, who can be told lies and myths and actually believe them.
Also, in case you haven't noticed, Anti-Hunters are actually BIGOTS that hate and despise White, Rural, Christian Working-Class American Males. Think about that one for a while and tell me I'm wrong.

In my experience, if someone is against hunters they are landowners who have had too many "hunters" sneak in on their property to shoot wildlife without permission.

Most "townies" have not got a clue about the countryside. They see Mr Fox or Mr Rabbit on the TV.......ahhh is'nt he cute.......No! This same fox will kill lambs for fun, kill every hen in the coop or every Pheasant in the pen. Hunting is a way of life we have to protect our income from vermin.

Because most non-hunters are suffering from a bad dose of "un-informed ignorance".

Because they haven't the sense to find something constructive to do with their time!
Provide some people a train to ride, they will climb aboard and never ask where it's going.
Happy Hunting

Why do people climb mountains or play golf? that is lookong at it from a strictly recreational point ov view, however real sportsman eat their kill.what is the difference in my eating elk and you eating pork or beef.at least big game animals have a chance of survival. or perhaps you would like tocompare my hunting pheasant to your eating chicken or turkey.i suppose that you think tha the chicken you fry on sunday died of natural causes?
