If your really asking: Is a MAC worth the price. Yes. Try this experiment: Price out a MAC at www.apple.com Then, price out a virtually identical PC at www.Dell.com or www.hp.com

Then, add Vista Ultimate, M$-Office (Neo-Office free for OS X), Norton Internet Security (no OS X malware), Back up software (Included), and any other software you may need on Windows.

Then, compare prices, you will find that the PRICE will be very close.

Finally, go to an Apple Store and take one for a test drive, ask lots of questions and decide for yourself.

Try a Mac Mini, too, they are a steal!!!

MacOS is only possible on Apple laptops. People have tried to install MacOS on regular PC laptops, but that hasn't worked out. Since Apple recently upgraded the laptop range (MacBook), you might find some older-spec models for a good deal at shops that sell Apple. Just look for models with 1GB (or less) RAM, 80 GB (or less) Harddrive. If you want to become a Mac user with the new models, you will have to pay the regular price. No matter how you go about it, an Apple laptop is worth the money.

No...no company that I know aside from Mac ships Mac software. Mac is very possessive about its OS's...
