can you interperet this horrible dream?

Question

I dont really remember alot of detail all i remember is violence, and alot of danger to all society. People were setting off bombs and i was running on what seemed like a dark gravel road and woods on each side people were in the distance killing......and i heard men's voices yelling " why are you doing this",...i was with someone cant make out who it is but i think it was a boy about my age and i'm 18. Basically it seemed like some type of terroist or gang...or some act against people. Thats all i remember now..but i remember thinking i was going to get killed or that i was dying.

Now i dont really take to heart what dreams mean sooo much but it helps me to figure where these emotions are steming from when i analyze my dreams because all my dreams seem very relevant most of the time. Anyways...what does this mean?

btw yesterday i didnt eat all day and didnt watch any tv...and i read the bible...so now can you tell me why i had this dream i'm not scared of death i fear god as i should...so i understand how yall thought my dream was coming from those things..but that cant be true!! just wanted to clear that up

Sounds like you live in a place others may think is a bad neighborhood. Even though you are familiar with the surroundings you know there is a real potential for "men" to hurt or kill anyone or everyone.

You hear the violence all the time but can't get out yourself even though it does not directly affect you it does bother you a great deal. Hearing "bombs" could be police activity or real gunshots you hear from time to time. On the other side it could be a power struggle inside your home and the situation is "Explosive".

You are constantly trying to make sense of it all "Why are you doing this" is the real question. Also, you may be looking for someone to take you away from it. Hence the unknown boy your age.

Sounds like you were placing yourself in a movie about the End Times, Armegeddon. Either that or you watched the news. Hopefully, you can watch something less traumatic and have sweet dreams of banana splits!
Of course, you may be thinking that going out with a boy friend is a really scary adventure or something you should not do. Stick to your studies. There will be plenty of time for socialization later!

I think your brain is trying to make sense of this world. Not all dreams are relevant to specific situations in our lives. But I do believe they give us clues to what's going on in our subconscious mind.

Terrorism, violence and senseless acts of killing our a part of every day news these days. Your brain may have just been trying to process what this all means for you and your friends, family, and acquaintances. The news can make us feel fearful if we take in too much of it. Perhaps you should make a point to watch more positive programming as much as possible. You can be informed without immersing yourself in the negativity and fear.

Fear of death. Are you playing video games and watching movies with violance in them? Try reading your Bible and learn of Jesus love. He tells us not to fear, more times than He talks about love. These dreams will stop once you trust Jesus with your life and death.
