I just watched Talladega Nights and found it to be the most informative documentary film of NASCAR.

I did not watch it. I thought it was going to portray Nascar in a negative light. Perhaps I should check it out, though, before I form an opinion.

EDIT: to "That One Dude" I love Days of Thunder! I have the movie and have watched it multiple times. Robert Duvall is great and the filming was excellent.

I thought it was a funny movie but it was more of a parody of NASCAR. Days of Thunder is the best NASCAR flick.

More like a liberal documentary of a conservative livestyle. Pretty much inflated views of events. It was so-so ok.

I have to agree with That One Dude, it was an entertaining movie, but it was just that. Entertainment. Days of Thunder was a much better portrayal of racing in it's time. (love that one!)
