Before I became a "Saint" I always would like to wear the temple garments. They were a soft material and always gave me a sexy feeling. But my question is for my friends that aren't Mormon yet (don't worry the Prophet Smith will reveal Himself to you in His time). Do you wear temple garments even if you aren't Mormon?

It doesn't matter if you wear temple garments or not; if you haven't been to the temple to have your endowments, you can wear what you want. But just remember, God is not mocked.

edit: Governor Boggs, huh? To name yourself after the man who made it legal to shoot Mormons jsut because they're Mormons? Well, I suppose that you do have the right to shoot your mouth off.

Well, I treat my body as a temple of God. I do cloth it and wear underwear, I don't know about them being Celestial. They are Fruit-of-the-Loom from Wal-Mart. Will your Prophet Smith still reveal himself to me even if they don't necessarily make me feel sexy.

Sorry, but I gave my answer with the same sincerity that you put into your question.

After going through the temple and making covenants with God (something which you can only usually do after you turn 18), many Mormons (not all) opt to wear garments as a reminder of the covenants they made and a reminder of God and Christ. It also helps them remember to dress modestly, because the top part of the garment covers the stomach and the bottom part goes down to just above the knees. They are usually just white and plain. There is nothing "magical" or "protective" about them, it is just for them to remind themselves of their religion, Christ, and their covenants.

I wonder if you are the same person who stated they liked the smell of women's purses some time ago.

Mormons know the garmies aren't sexy, but my interest is piqued regarding the thong with a moon - isn't that sort of redundant?

You are a sick individual, and most certainly NOT a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Why do you keep posting all this crap? No Mormon would talk about something they hold sacred like that!

I have heard of the special underwear or garment; but my question has to do with the scriptural authority for it. (I currently would prefer 'book, chapter, and verse',. but I would like at least a scriptural event/story regarding it).

Most churches don't believe in that sort of thing. Most churches don't even have temples. It is an interesting question though.

Why would we? I won't hold my breath on some so-called prophet revealing himself to me.
