Yes, The Lord recognizes his own and he loves you and is pulling you back. You are the one that he would leave the safe 99 for to go find and bring back. Call the Church office during business hours and just inquire about the classes that start in the late Summer or Fall and you can be receiving the Lord in Holy Communion by Easter and be sure to go to the Masses too. You receive many graces just being in his presence during Mass.
I do not have to tell you to ignore the others on here who are screaming at you because you know who spoke to your heart at Mass and they do not know him or they would not be telling you the things they are.

If you want to be a Christian, by all means, become a Christian. I can't explain what it was about your uncle's (God rest his soul) funeral's service, but at the same time, I don't think it the least bit strange that something inspired you while you were there.
If it was in a Catholic Church, you received the inspiration to become a Christian, to me that is a clear signal for you to become a Catholic Christian.
So you've been Baptized. I take it, it was a Catholic Baptism?Good, you can build on that.
First things first, start attending mass regularly; weekly. After mass, you will want to talk to the priest. Tell him your situation, and that you want to become an active member of the Catholic Church.
Since you were Baptized Catholic, coming back to the Church may simply be a matter of receiving the Sacrament of Confession. After which, the Church will make arrangements for you to receive your first Holy Communion and finally your Confirmation.
Every convert/revert's case it different. Definitively talk to a priest. Tell him everything, answer all his questions. He will help you revert back to the Catholic Church.

You will not be baptised again since you have already been baptised but you will have to attend the R.C.I.A.( Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults ) classes at your local Roman Catholic church in order to study and understand the Catholic faith fully.
I think grace is working in your soul and taking you in the right direction....towards the only Divinely instituted church founded on the Rock of Peter (the Papacy), the Roman Catholic church. Our Lord founded the Roman Catholic church on the firm rock of the Papacy so that all would distinguish His Church, from those that falsely claimed to be His. The first Pope was St.Peter and his direct successor is Pope Benedict XVl. An amazing direct continuity of 2000 years!
The following link has some interesting articles distinguishing the Catholic church from other denominations and will probably help you make a decision:

All the best!

First of all, you do not need to be rebaptized if you decide to come back to the Catholic Church. Secondly, take time and meditate with introspection to see where the Lord is calling you and if it is the Catholic Church , go and talk to a priest and see what requirements there would be to be received in the Catholic Church. If it is the Catholic Church you are more than likely would go through RCIA as a catechumen preparing yourself for full communion.

If you were baptized in a church in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, you do not need to be baptized again.
If you are from another faith tradition, other than Catholic, you would speak with the priest and then go through a process called RCIA, Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. This is a series of classes, usually culminating with your being received into the Church at the Great Vigil of Easter when you will receive Communion and be confirmed.

God has a way of tugging at one's heart strings. That's a good thing. As to what does it all mean, it means that the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ wants you in his flock and that's another good thing. What to do? Go to a church that you would like to attend, request a conference with the priest and the priest will set up a series of studies so that you can work towards becoming a confirmed Catholic. It's as easy as that. Good luck and congratulations on making the decision to become a Christian.

Give it time and more prayer. Go back inside a Catholic Church -- whether or not a service is going on -- and see how you feel. Talk to a Catholic friend, relative, priest and ask about their RCIA program (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults). You were baptized and so you have faith. You need to confirm your faith and you would want to be able to participate in receiving the Eucharist as often as you can for your journey through life.

This could be a calling. I appreciate your interest in investigating the possibility.
If you are interested in joining or just learning more about the Catholic Church, contact your local parish and ask about information about their RCIA Inquiry group.
You can go and ask any questions you want.
This is the first step in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) but you can stop at any time.
There is no obligation to become a Catholic.
With love and prayers in Christ.

Join an RCIA group in your local parish. You will meet other adults with the same quest and you can receive Confession,Communion and Confirmation with them.
Before that register and set up an appointment with a priest. Get the Catechism of the Catholic Church and read it. Start going to church every Sunday,.Start talking to God every day.
I'll be praying for you.My life with Christ in the Catholic Church has been so rewarding and blessed.

,Don't rush into anything as you have plenty of time. Take time to mull over your thoughts and if possible find someone with whom you feel comfortable with. Obviously a priest would be a good start. They are there to help and will listen and guide you and will be sympathetic to your current state.
Take time to sit quietly in a church and let God enter your heart.
Prayer is conversation with God and he will listen.Treat him like a friend and be comfortable in his presence,he wont judge or condemn.
Don't be put off by the negative answers here just brush them off and follow your heart.
