For instance, I asked a question about one-night-stands. I got about 20 replies for the question. Out of the 20, there were only one or two people who supported my stance. But the remaining 20-odd people attacked me and resorted to name-calling because they feel one-night-stands are immoral.

But then just 10-15 minutes later, a person asked a question where he said it was immoral for people to involve in one-night-stands - exactly the opposite stance that I had made earlier. This question got like 30 replies - but what shocked me was that only 5 people supported his stance, but the remaining 25 attacked him giving well-thought-out, convincing answers as to why one-nighters are NOT wrong.

So, where were these 25 people to support me when I asked my question first? Why do you have to attack people to get responses out of them, but nobody is willing to support another?

OK, the one-night-stands is just an example. But there are so many other issues where I have noticed this happening.

I think the time of day determines some of the responses you might get to any question. I see the same questions over and over and the answers are never consistent. If the KKK or some other group just happens to be on here then you get racial crap thrown in your face. It all depends on who's looking when you post a question.

i believe like you that to reach a higher understanding of anything there needs to be two or more individuals who have the capasity to have an open mind and really love to find truth in a world where the truth so often slips away . and to address the issue of one night stands , most people are to weak to not let jelousy slip in . some are strong enough , i am not . so i happily settle with ways to express love other than " doin' it " peace .

Responses vary depending on who's online. One night stands are immoral to some, but to others (like myself) they are foolish risks of life, given the plethora of permanent and/or fatal STDs today.

Did you notice that it is all
about Good and evil.
The moral question got attacked
by the immoral. The immoral
question got attacked by the
moral. Good can never support
evil. Evil will never support Good. :)

One night stand, or any other thing in life is a personal choice, others answers are simply others opinions, from their personal point of view. perhaps the question could be..
are we all hapy with the choices we make for ourselves or others..???
