The Bible consistently tells us that homosexual activity is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). Romans 1:26-27 teaches specifically that homosexuality is a result of denying and disobeying God. When a person continues in sin and disbelief, the Bible tells us that God “gives them over” to even more wicked and depraved sin in order to show them the futility and hopelessness of life apart from God. 1 Corinthians 6:9 proclaims that homosexual “offenders” will not inherit the kingdom of God.
God does not create a person with homosexual desires. The Bible tells us that a person becomes a homosexual because of sin (Romans 1:24-27), and ultimately because of their own choice. A person may be born with a greater susceptibility to homosexuality, just as people are born with a tendency to violence and other sins. That does not excuse the person choosing to sin by giving into their sinful desires. If a person is born with a greater susceptibility to anger / rage, does that make it right for then to give into those desires? Of course not! The same is true for homosexuality.
However, the Bible does not describe homosexuality as a “greater” sin than any other. All sin is offensive to God. Homosexuality is just one of the many things listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that will keep a person from the kingdom of God. According to the Bible, God’s forgiveness is just as available to a homosexual as it is to an adulterer, idol worshipper, murderer, thief, etc. God also promises the strength for victory over sin, including homosexuality, to all those who will believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation (1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

There is no new age Christian junk. What was written aforetime for us today still stands and is God's law and instruction, his loving guidance for us. If it is God's instruction for men/women not to lie down with one another to commit acts of homosexuality, what do you think will be the consequences of their actions should they not stop?
1 Corinthians 6: 9 - 10
What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom.
Leviticus 18:22
“‘And you must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing".
Romans 1: 26 27
That is why God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error.
Furthermore:
Jesus taught: “Everyone that keeps on looking at a woman so as to have a passion for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matthew 5:28) A masturbator often has such kinds of passionate thoughts, fantasizing about having sexual relations. Such a person is certainly not living in accordance with Christ’s teaching. There can be no question that these who feed their sexual appetite by masturbating are violating God’s instructions to DEADEN their sexual appetite.
If homosexuals, murderers, rapists, liars, cheats, extortioners, fornicators, adulterers, etc., won't inherit God's kingdom, where do you think they're headed? Stop trying to twist things in the Bible to make excuses for "YOUR" immoral filthy conduct. Remember, Jehovah God will not be mocked. The fool is playing the fool to his own self.

Sin is the transgression of the law,
and sin brings forth death, so homosexuality is a trangression of the law (613 laws) and will bring forth death, which is separation from God because God will not look on sin or accept it.
It will be punished wherever it is found.
Hell is definitely the place for all those who sin against God.
Including homosexuals.
Your friends don't understand the message of the Bible.

Anyone who does not atone for sin, anyone who tries to justify their sinful ways, does not go to heaven. That is very clear in scripture. Homosexuality is just part of the sin of sexual immorality. There are many sins and each sin has sub-groups, so to speak. Anyone, with any sin, has the chance to redeem themselves. Homosexuality is not the only sin nor is it an unforgivable sin. It is just like lust, it may be natural to many people, but we cannot make that an excuse and keep our sin and think we deserve to go to heaven.
We have to atone for sins and try to live righteously.

We all go to hell. The meaning of hell is literally the grave. Six feet under. A burning hell is a lie.

The sure way to Hell is not accepting Jesus as Lord. If we don't accept Jesus, then we are judged by the law. The law says Le 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
