Hi,
Washing your hair every day robs it of it's natural oils and therefore drys it out. That being said. I was my hair daily because I have OCD about clean hair. I also blow dry it and flat iron it. So, my hair should be like straw, but I use good quality shampoo and conditioner and every second or thrid day I use a moisturizing treatment - so my hair is fine. I also get regular trims.
Good luck!

You MIGHT Be Able To Do That But, You Might Just Get Greasy Roots And Dry, Flyaway Ends For Your Trouble. It Sounds Like You Bought The Wrong Shampoo For Your Hair (Scalp) Type. I Said Scalp Because The Oil Produced Comes From Scalp Glands. If You Have An Oil Problem, You Need To Use A Good Cleansing Shampoo. I Don't Mean An "Oily Hair" Shampoo, Just A CLEAR, Gentle Cleansing Shampoo And Use It On Your Scalp. That Is, Wet Your Hair, And Apply A Small Amount Of Shampoo Just To The Scalp Area. Massage Gently WITHOUT Getting Shampoo On The Rest Of Your Hair. Then, If It Needs It. Work The Shampoo Down To Ends For A Few Seconds Then Rinse Thoroughly With COOL Water. If Your Hair Is Dry Or Flyaway Apply A Good Conditioner To The Lenghts And Ends Only, Not The Scalp. Use A Separate, More Intensive Conditioner For Your Ends Only, If They Need It. Good-Luck!!

First off, you need to get a shampoo that won't make your hair greasy in the first place. The reason you shouldn't wash your hair everyday is because it strips out the natural oils that cause your hair not to go frizzy. Wash it every other day and buy a shampoo with less conditioner if it is causing oiliness. Try a clarifying shampoo.

Washing your hair everyday strips your hairs' natural oils and if it's too greasy, then you're just replacing those oils with unnatural ones. If you want to take a shower everyday, you don't have to clean you're hair every single time. For me, I wash my hair every other day and on the days that I don't, I wash my body down real good with tons of body washes and soaps.

Well, if you exercise daily and really sweat (as everyone really should make time to do), you will wash your hair everyday. Sometimes, I have to wash mine 2 times in a day. Its OK, really. Its not bad for your hair. Keep your hair trimmed regularly and use a shampoo and conditioners with gentle ingredients.

Dangerous, no, but unhealthy yes.
If you wash it daily you are removing all the the oils from the hair and stripping it dry.

its kind of like a cycle, if you wash your hair everyday it becomes greasy which makes you wash your hair everyday. try not to wash your hair all the time.

You wash away all the nutrients. You do not want you hair to be squeaky clean, it is bad for your hair. Also, lice attack clean hair..... Good Luck :)
