Just some background: i am a white teenage girl, living in a Hispanic community with over protective paranoid parents. I really want to egt out of the house, but my parents are "afraid" (read as don't trust me) for me.

Say to them that you have a homework club to go to, you have to go to the library, you need to go over to your friend's house, or you are going to walk around the neighborhood. Good luck!

My parents were very overprotective when I was a teen too. We made a contract together that stated rules, boundries as well as consequences. then we all signed it. They trusted me and my friends then, and I knew what would happen if I broke the rules or went somewhere I wasn't supposed to go.

If your parents are worried about the neighbors, invite some of them over to just hang out and meet your parents. Maybe your parents will learn to relax if they know that everyone in the neighborhood isn't out to "get you".

Well it depends on where you wanna go. If u have a friend that ur family trustes then u can tell ur family that u r going to w/ her/him... but I think that ur family trust you but they DON'T trust the ppl out there. You know the world is a very dangerous place right now so you have to give it time and everything will come into place for the best....

get involved with some community services. join some type of sports team, find a job, or just find a cool hobby to do that requires you to go outside. Whatever it is, make sure it's positive and something that your parents would be proud of.

Your parents are smart.Listen to them and you won't be sorry.Go around them and have your way now, you'll be really sorry. It doesn't matter what neighborhood you live in either.guys all want sex in every race and they use little white girls like you like toilet paper hon.We don't need any more welfare moms so obey your parents. They KNOW what they are doing, you do not.
