So Christianity is the only way? But there are ultra liberal and ultra conservative Christian churches. Catholics have tremenously different beliefs than Baptists. Some follow the whole Bible, some only the New Testiment. Some don't believe in the book of revalations. If you can't even agree between yourselves, how can you continue to criticize non-believers?

The bible doesn't say "Christians must agree to get into heaven" It does say that the way to salvation is through Jesus Christ. As long as you put your faith in God and Accept Jesus Christ as your savior, your sins will be forgiven and you get to look forward to seeing our Father in heaven. Why do non believers want to change people who believe? I mean it's ridiculous. You think you're just going to die and rot in the earth so what does it matter to you anyway? Get off it, I'm sick of seeing these pitiful christianity complaints. You CAN'T change us, you're attempts are in vain, and all you are doing is making Christians feel sorry for you, because your sins won't be forgiven if you don't accept Jesus, and we know where people like that end up.

Its too late anyway. Its already Revelations. The reason that thars so many is because. To be a christian you must have the Holy Ghost. Because some are not willing to accept, or believe, or they had it and lost it. I could go on and on. Christians don't sin. They breath clear and spit white. People are always searching but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. The bible says there is a vail over the eyes of men, that they cannot see. I say, what the bible says. Get the Holy Ghost and speak in tongues. NOW THAT SOUNDS CRAZY!! Doesn't it?? But that is what the bible says do!!! So yeah. Your right. They will never find the truth as long as they are led by the blind. With crap like trinity and praying to Mary. And just ask him to come into your heart brother!! AMEN your saved forever. THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW GOD. How they gonna save somebody else? They can't even get themselves saved.

"Catholics have tremenously different beliefs than Baptists. ".. Not so, on the basic doctrine of God and salvation they are 100% the same... In fringe doctrines such as church government, baptism, or how meetings are conducted there are differences. For a Christian these incidentals don't make that much difference. A close relationship with God is what matters. So your claim that we are widely separated is false.. Jim

I'd like to try to answer your question first with an apology to you and others about criticizing 'non-believers'.

I used to be very religious and found fault with everyone and anything that *seemed* to come in between with my beliefs. Very judgemental. It would be this way for over 20 years.

So, after many years of frustrations and my own questions about "Christianity", I was led by circumstances in my pursuit of the real Jesus...the real God. There was a hunger to know Him as His followers knew Him. Eventually I happened upon a few websites that clearly and simply explained my own questions.

See, Jesus hung out with the poor, the prostitutes, the thieves and drunkards. He was their friend. They felt safe with Him. Take for example the woman caught in adultry. Jesus said "let him who has no sin cast the first stone". They all walked away...and Jesus didn't condemn her...and He never sinned. He helped them, healed them, spoke kindly to them. In other words...like Father...like Son.

It was the Religious Leaders He was angry at, and He was a threat to them. They thought they knew their 'Bible' yet He said the scriptures all pointed to Him.

And most people in the religious system are stuck in a mindset that has been going on for over 2000 years. They just don't realise it. Well, alot of them don't.

But Jesus didn't talk about rules...He talked about His relationship with his Father and how His Father loved them all. And His life proved what a relationship with God was like.

So, I myself owe a great apology to those I've offended by my ignorance, my critical and smug better-than-you attitude.. I hold no hatred or ill feelings towards anyone. And that is the beginning of my freedom God has given me.

It's difficult to get a group of people to agree on just about anything. Look at the political system. There are as many ideas about what's best for the country as there are people. Try to get a random group of people to agree completely as to what limits should apply to our right to freedom of speech and the difficulty, impossibility, of the situation becomes apparent.

In a word "denominations" -- a tradition of men -- whereby a group of religious congregations having its own organization and a distinctive faith enact it's own rules and place a specific spin on the dogma it espouses.

Denominational sects are not relevant to Christianity or the Gospel.

Because people all interpet the word in diffrent ways, and cut and paste the Bible according to their beliefs.

I myself have seen in the word where people have taken certian scriptures and made a whole religion of it. Instead of taking the whole Bible as a whole.

That is why its best to seek God first and ask him to guide you, instead of letting people tell you what to do and what to believe. Read the Bible and ask God for understanding.

Confusion occurs when God exits the Building. Its pointless to criticize people who don't believe because in the end arnt they the very reason this religion is around?

God bless

Because they base their beliefs on a book written by men.

...Or because they base their beliefs on a book. Period.

Whenever something is written down, people start to interpret.

That's why I'm not going to let a book tell me what to do, since I know I'll end up with personal bias anyway.

Even something infallible (though not really) becomes fallible when the readers are fallible...
