All science does is report the facts from the field, the way a detective does. Science doesn't say, "Darwinism is a fact. Therefore Jesus is not the son of god." Science doesn't involve itself in religion. Why is it that religion can't accept that it is NOT based on fact, but faith, and that one MUST interpret the bible, especially when it's passage are set in parable. What's wrong with those people?

I really never understood why some Christians did. I'm a Christian and I think Science proves more that God is real. It just shows that God made "laws" so the universe would work right.

I think it is simply because some people are identified as scient*ist*s, which in True Believer language signifies a religion. If there were people going about called secular*ist*s, then the Good Christians might attack them instead.

Secularism is too abstract a concept. Science puts the abstract into tangible images and therefore becomes a target.

Silly, I know.

Religion makes up facts and says if you don't believe you will be burned eternally. Religion is not simple faith, religion is belief in something with or without evidence. And yes, the interpretation of the bible will keep changing until it is seen as complete mythology, just like every other historic religion to ever exist.

In case you haven't noticed those findings from the field don't support the claims of religions. Therefore it is an opposite. On the religions side you have B.S and on the science side you have evidence and truth.

For me, my representations of organic procedures are rooted interior the emblems -- or appropriate theory that created the Universe. the mathematics of the suited theory I found out by Revelations from an extremely own Engagement initiated by the author -- my Mentor, practice, and Protector. I actual have Rewritten the guidelines of diffusion as compliments, given the expression for the molar mass of the proton, corrected relativity, defined the real root of objectivity, uncovered a lacking time-honored consistent, shown the advantageous-shape consistent, quantized mass, .... blah blah blah. mutually as restricting myself to the integers and pi and e (that's objectivity). a majority of those suggestions unify under the emblems -- no tweaking, no hand-waving, no excuses, and precise to greater effective than 10 to the minus 4 p.c. Lack of imagination, a refusal to give up their mental image of their "exalted" place in the universe, a preference fore lazy answers as opposed to hard ones.

Creationists, at their core, believe that the entire reason the universe was created was for humanity (God's "chosen" people specifically...ie: them) to have something to stand on while worshipping their god. The idea that we are only one of many species of animals (just with more developed brains), that we are only a small speck in a tiny corner of the universe without any grand cosmic importance at all is a terrible assault on their sensibilities.

Your inference that all scientists adhere to the naturalistic Darwinian Theory is conjecture. There are many scientists who believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. You say science dose not involve itself in religion but you are wrong in that regard as well. Some scientist deny the evidence for intelligent design and actively pursue legislation which denies the right of those who disagree with them the freedom to express their beliefs derived from scientific observations in the natural world which point to the probability of an intelligent agency in creation. This is not uninvolvement. The Bible has some parables this is true, but it also has poetry, prose, and historical narrative.
As to your statement about whats wrong with these people? They have sinned and come short of the Glory of God just like yourself and are in need of a relationship with the one that created them with purpose, will and destiny. One group is in denial the other is not.
Your questions are interesting to say the least but they show a lack of genuine thought in the implications of the various world views extant today. I would suggest you study to show yourself approved that you might give an answer to others for the lack of hope that your ideology trusts in.
I hope the God of all truth would be your guide.

I have my own theories about the reason christians reject the scientific explanation for evolution. However it is important for the freedom of thought that secularism, especially in our political and educational area continue.

Inherantly, it's not.

But in practice... the use of science tends to disprove many, many aspects of what they believe in. And when it comes to deciding between belief of logic and research, or belief in indoctrination... indoctrination tends to win out. For now.
