Maybe you don't want to get rid of them. Honestly, I could claim so much on myself that it would make it true eventually. But when you claim you are a child of the Most High King who does not tolerate homosexuality then that is who you become. I had a similar problem a few years ago. I thought I might be lesbian. It was for silly reasons too. See, I love to draw, but I mostly draw females, to me they are the easiest. I found myself thinking that it was because I preferred a females body more, but that was just the Devil's lie. I had to change the way I was viewing things. And I did with God's help. The way I see it is, God wouldn't create someone who couldn't get into heaven. And it says in 1Corinthians 6:9 "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders...will inherit the kingdom of God." So God would not place someone on this earth who could not make it to heaven. It is a choice YOU make. You may feel it is who you are, but that is not who God created you to be though you have become it from your own selfish flesh. We want what feels good. But that is not what is always the best for us. To be with God is sometimes to feel uncomfortable. But God is there to help us through that. Just asking God to forgive and not changing the lifestyle isn't going to be enough. Though He will forgive us 70 times 7. That is a lot of time. But willingly living in sin is not going to fly with God. God does not create homosexual Chirstians. We choose to be a follower of Christ, just like some choose to not follow Him. The Bible says to pray without seasing. The Devil will tell you it's not working and will never work. But God gave you the authority to silence him. With God you can beat this. He wants the person He created you to be. God will never allow us to go through something He knows we can't get throught without Him. He knows you can overcome this. Now you need to know you can also. Don't let Satan trick you any longer. God loves you and will fight hard with you. He wants you to be with Him. Do not stop praying. And also, start beleiving God has already saved you from this. Because He has, it's only a matter or you receiving it. That is faith. I pray God gives you all you need. Don't give up!

Your Mom didn't have the total choice about your being born the first time, either. Ask God. And then let Him do what He sees best, like He did when you were born the first time.

That's the same question they asked Jesus!
Your first birth, was by the flesh (or natural man's way)
The second birth....is by the Spirit of God.
Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. that which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
To be born-again of the spirit...you must ask the Lord to forgive you of all sin and receive him as your Lord and savior.

You can try the re-birthing process.
I have heard some "wonderful" experiences in which this process actually kills someone...I guess in an essence bring them closer to God.

Does Baptism Regenerate Us (Make Us Born Again) in Christ?
"Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life" (Romans 6:3-4).
"For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ" (Gal. 3:27).
"And you were buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. And you, who were dead in trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, having canceled the bond which stood against us with its legal demands; this he set aside, nailing it to the cross" (Col. 2:12-14).
"It was for no reason except his own faithful love that he saved us, by means of the cleansing water of rebirth and renewal in the Holy Spirit" (Tit. 3:5)
1250 Born with a fallen human nature and tainted by original sin, children also have need of the new birth in Baptism to be freed from the power of darkness and brought into the realm of the freedom of the children of God, to which all men are called. The sheer gratuitousness of the grace of salvation is particularly manifest in infant Baptism. The Church and the parents would deny a child the priceless grace of becoming a child of God were they not to confer Baptism shortly after birth.

1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
To be born again you must ask Jesus for repentance of all sin and accept as your Lord and savoir.

Being born again is not a physical re-birth, but a spiritual re-birth. Your soul gets reborn and reunited with God through Jesus Christ.
