I don't know why people are against Christians because Christianity(I'm sure that there are some other faiths that have the same stands as us)is stands for LOVE. Love unborn babies, love yourself and not to have unmarried sex(that includes homosexuals),drinking - it is so me, me, me. What God sees is a alcoholic isn't worshiping God any more its all about themself. God bless you for making the decision to go sober, He loves you so much!

Is it possible that you feel that the 'whole drinking alcohol thing' is the one thing Christians ignore the most is prejudiced by your own alcoholism? There are no reformed alcoholics, only recovering ones. You know that!
I don't think it would be possible to comprehend your definition of a Christian that would support abortion. Abortion is the taking of a human life because most Christians believe life begins at conception. In short, it is murder.
Handing out condoms and birth control -in context with the rest of your question, it sounds like your concern is less for safe sex to prevent disease and more about unwanted pregnancy. Again, many Christians (but not all) practice celibacy and enjoy sex only within marriage. To not do so would be to commit adultery and fornication all prohibitions found in the Bible.
Christians, it would seem, have less of a problem with sexual sin, than you do, my friend. You seem to be obsessed with it.
If you're not a Christian, then why are you so worried about what we believe?

First, enable me say that i substitute right into a non secular Christian for some years. I left the religion using fact it stopped making experience to me. although, i think of i'm able to propose some explanation why persons are "against" Christianity. As a faith, Christianity has a background that incorporates many terrible issues. the full theory of "take place destiny" that led to the annihilation of community cultures around the international, to illustrate. Or the Crusades. Or the crimes perpetrated against the Jews. i might desire to pass on, yet i think of you get the factor. regardless of the way it makes human beings experience in my opinion, Christianity has displayed the flexibility to tutor communities of people into monsters. It additionally has an inclination to make human beings run roughshod over the ideals and rights of others. With that for the duration of techniques, i think of you will see why some human beings react badly to the very theory of it.

Well said but me as a Pastor I have run homes for alcoholics and drug addicts. So both needs to be said, but where the problem that comes here is christians dont really want to talk about sex so they hide it or fight against it. Most men cannt find freedom from this because the church wont discuss and cries sinners, instead of helping them you see many programs that deal with drugs and alchol problems but how many churchs really help the sexual immoral.

now to me the biggest reasons is that christian do not know how to be like there God.. he say love every one like you love your self.. well how many people do you know love them self.. they say one thing and do another.. so what the biggest problem is that we do not live what we preach.. and ya another reason is people that are mad at the world and God want ever one else to be that way.. christian promote moral and believe in family and love we don't do it but we preach it and most try.. as for safe sex i believe that we should hand out condoms so that our teen will not get pg..vd..and the rest.. condoms are not what Christianity's is about now abortion well i am on the wall on that one.. my wife was once being forced to have one and she said no but the doctors said she had too.. well she told them if they did she would kill them ya my wonderfully wife got mad and she meant it that the scare part.. well if she had our wonderful daughter and our 4 grand kids would not be here.. she know she had that child in her and she knew that the other babies died but she was willing to go thought with it to have this one child.. and it almost killed her.. there was hell to pay let me tell you i lost my job and ya i got mad at her but now i understand.. i also knew of a lady that need to have a abortion and her church and other made her feel rotten for thinking it .. we lost both of them so you see what was right.. but like i said we talk the talk but we don't walk the walk.. so Intel you live you life just as God said to.. why point a finger.. and one last thing God did not put down he homosexual.. man did.. God put down group sex unsafe sex sex out of marriage.. read before you speak know the facts..

First of all, I am not "against Christianity" but I am against theocracy of ANY sort and the includes Christianity.
I couldn't care less if you are Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist , Atheist, Agnostic, or Zoroastrian.
You are also entitled to your views about sexuality, and you are free to follow your own conscience about sexuality. I only have a problem when anyone of ANY religion tries to enforce the tenets of their religion on everyone throught the strong arm of the law. In Islamic countries women are killed for breaking their sexual taboo. In America, Dominionists desire to bring back death by stoning for adultery and fornication.
I don't want to live under ANY type of theocracy.
I am not asking you to "support" what you consider sexual immorality. Don't have sex outside of marriage if you don't want to, but for those who do, leave them alone. It's none of your business.

those views dont have much to do with christianity. those are more the modern spins on some old thoughts. people arent necessarily "against" christianity but not everyone believes in the same thing and some christians have a tendency to try to convert others and force their religion down their throats.
the dislike of their views on homosexuality, abortion, etc is more of a basis for a dislike of conservatives.

i hate most of the Christianity people because they do more bad than good
they think that they the only ones that go to heaven and that is not true at ALL
they base their live off an old as hell story that gets rewritten and changed all the time and that is so fake it is not even funny how dumb and fake the bible is.
most of the people in Christianity think that they have to make their believes a why of life for all of us
abortion is the parents choice NOT a dumb Christian's
choice
IF YOU LOVE SOME ONE IT IS NOT A SIN(LOVE IS NOT A SIN)
EVEN IF THE ONE YOU LOVE IS ANOTHER GIRL OR GUY
Christians can't tell PEOPLE that they know what is right because an old fake book said so

I don't care about your views on anything, I just want your views on sex, homosexuality, and abortion OUT OF OUR LAWS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations on your 3 years sober. I was in that boat for many years but pregnancy changed that. I used to think there was no way I could not come home every evening and get drunk. When I found myself pregnant at 37, due to alcoholic lust, I knew I wanted my baby very badly. I also knew that I had to stop drinking for him. It was easy. After he was born the thought of a hangover with a happy hungry baby at 6:00 a.m. was a deterrent and I never picked it up again.
I now have an occasional Margarita or wine with dinner but that is all.
Christians are definitely why I dislike Christianity. That and the fact that I will not worship the biblical monster. When you worship an evil, hate filled, vengeful, and jealous god based on some evil book you then also can become hate filled and evil.
I do enjoy the gnostic gospels though and I truly believe that Jesus, the Essene rabbi taught about enlightenment.

No some people feel that way because Many claiming to be Christians do not follow their religion and take the Bible seriously and they lead immoral lives.
How many Christians actually follow their religion word for word, the way it is said to follow in the Bible?
It only takes a bite out of one bitter apple to keep you away from the rest.
