I usually spend time with my family on sunday afternoons. By now the hang over is healing. The kids are tired out from playing all morning. The cleaning was done yesterday. We throw in a load of laundry and I sit down with my nephews and we watch a movie or work on a puzzle or read a book until bedtime. I don't know why this should be any different for non Pagans, Wiccans, Heathens, Etc....
It is the day before school and work, it is a good time to regroup and catch up, prepare for the week ahead.
Plus, if I go out in public, those non heathens might see my holey sunday clothes, and those ripped up old things aren't pretty.

My husband and I have a little routine. Every day (sometimes twice) we slowly walk around the yard and look at all of our flowers, bushes and trees. We look for new growth and to see what's blooming.
I didn't do any yard work this afternoon but we went to a garden center and bought a new bush--it's a viburnum, a Juddi. I can't wait to see if I can smell its blooms in the spring! It's still too hot to plant it yet. I'll wait until just before sunset.

Can't say that my Roman Reconstructionist self does any yardwork on Sundays...especially being that I live in an apartment in the city.
Not much of a gardener anyway, no green thumb here!

I maintain my property on EVERYDAY, even on the Sabbats. To care for the Earth IS our worship. We do NOT get to neglect our duties to the Earth just because it is a certain day of the week or of the year.

I take a nap, and take care of the small zoo that resides at my house. I can look at a plant and kill it. The longest I've ever kept a plant alive is four days, and that was a cactus.
Blessed be

Nope, work nights, gotta spend this gorgeous day sleeping. I have one single huge pot of flowers, which I watered and deadheaded this morning when I got home. Didja get a look at that full moon last night? Magnificent.

I have a 14 yr old son who takes care of that for me. Too bad he is in Houston with friends.
I am heading to the pool. Don't work too hard.

Yup. My herbs are doing well and it looks like there will be a bumper pumpkin crop this year. The mosquitos are bad though and it is very hot. Blessed Be.

I work in the garden when it needs doing, weather permitting. If not I'm shopping, or working on my literary endeavours, or working overtime.
