Speak to God and ask him to stop these feelings or even the dream. Good luck!

I have, on quite a few occasions, been able to change dreams, stop dreams and sometimes I will even be aware that I am currently in a dream. Most commonly it happens if I wake up for a moment and go back to sleep knowing what I was dreaming and, when falling asleep again I could alter the state of the dream. Try setting an alarm clock and when you wake up, think about the dream and go back to sleep right away with some sort of emotion or goal (angry-going to kick some butt, enjoy-good dream, think about alternate courses for the dream). I have had nightmares that were so bad, I wouldn't want to go back or couldn't go back because they were so alarming.

Worth a shot. My 2 cents.

It is possible to re-dream your dreams. Upon awakening from a nightmare, regain your composure, close your eyes again and relax. Start your dream over, think about what happened in the dream and how it felt. Now be creative, bring something else into the dream. Something that would make you feel happy, energetic, or safe. It doesn't have to make sense, it's a dream. Turn the action around into something that you would be happy with.

For example, as a little girl I used to have monster nightmares. They were always chasing me. I started imagining the monsters had big red noses like Grover from Sesame street, then I bonked them in the nose and they said "ouch!" and turned around an walked away. I quit having monsters come in my dreams after that.

Also, your dreams don't control you. You can have a bad dream and have a wonderful day. You're giving your dream too much power over your mind. It is what you believe in your mind that will come true. So, when you have a bad dream believe that "it can only get better from here!"... and it will.

What is going on here is that a deep fear you are having about something is causing you to have nightmares. Say one time when you were young you got trapped in a dark room, then you would have nightmares of darkness. These nightmares you are having were probably cause by traumatic event in your past. To stop them, convince yourself that your fear is unrealistic. If it is a realistic dream, change your last thought before you fall asleep. Right before you fall asleep think about lying on the beach or taking a bubble bath, something happy. Also play relaxation music or something. That is what I do when I have nightmares.

You take sleeping pills or drink, it alters your dreams. You can also try your best to concentrate during the day on something other than your bad dreams and see if that eventually alters your dreams.

when you go to bed at night tell yourself that when you dream that you WILL control your dreams. do something you find relaxing before you go to bed. tell yourself that it's only a dream and that it cannot and willnot hurt you. tell yourself that the first moment of your dream that you will wakeup. it takes practice but it does work. when i statrt to have a re-occuring bad dream i can tell myself in my dream that i am only dreaming and i don't like what i am dreaming and this is how i am going to make my dream go. then my dream changes. like i saud it takes practice but it can be done. GOD BLESS you.
